Hey guys. Surge recently stopped doing "Dev Vlogs" because he was WAY too busy to handle server things with doing consistent dev vlogs. So I've taken up the job of doing them, and they should be coming out more consistently than they used to. I'll make sure you guys know everything that is happening behind the scenes, new servers, and just improvements in general. Hope you're excited, let's get started. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Hacking is now a ban. No more hackers getting off with a stupid mute or jail. If you hack, and ruin gameplay for other players, you will be banned. You WILL NOT be let off with warning. Hopefully this will make gameplay more enjoyable for you guys. - Plugins are getting done for the new gamemode. That should be out very soon. Hope you are all ready for that, as that will be a very fun gamemode to play with friends. Only reason it isn't out is because we had to get some new dev's to get the plugins done, but that's fine because it allows for the best gameplay experience - New mines coming to prison very soon! With new mines comes new ranks after Soldier. If you didn't know, Soldier is currently the highest rank after Z, but some new ones are coming VERY soon! Get your money ready for these ones: Hitman Capo Underboss Boss - Back on the "Hacking" subject: Several hackers were banned from the server today, and more will CONTINUE to get banned if they keep hacking. Just remember; if you see a hacker, make sure you record them or get enough proof and post on the server immediately. Hackers get banned now, so it is completely worth it to make sure you get your hacker recorded and posted to the forums. - Sorry this was kind of short, not TOO much that I can share with everyone. Last but not least, something for the OLD players of Squad. Well, mainly only the old players will remember this. But right beside the drop for pvp in spawn (factions), there will be a room with a pressure plate you can step on that will give you some potion effects. This will mainly be to help new players get somewhere in pvp, and not instantly die upon dropping. It's pretty helpful, and I think a pretty cool feature . - EDIT: Forgot to add that a HC Factions server is probably coming in the near future. A LOT of work has to go into it, but it will be very good when completed. A lot of requests for it, so we're going to try to deliver. He then proceeded to delete the thread but Idk if Surge got a glance at it when I sent it to him.
Yea, it was annoying me that people could hack and get off with a jail. What is that going to do.... If you hack, you don't deserve to play. Simple as that.
Finally they see that a slap on the wrist won't stop a hacker, At least Common Sense won in the end so no complaints from me.
