What is your Minecraft name? SR950 Why do you play Minecraft? As a child i have always loved creating things from my imagination. Statues, castles, monsters. And where could i do this more then on a sandbox computer game! Now these days as i have gotten older i prefer to help the new people develop and enjoy this game when i started playing it. What is your time zone? Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) When are you usually online? On and off between 1pm to 11pm(and can at times go into the night) How many hours a day can you play? How many hours do you actually play? I play around 2-3 hours. Can play up to 4 and 5. How long have you been playing SquadCraft? 2 Years What's your favorite memory on SquadCraft? Doing a massive allied raid on Solus Doing a massive dp at spawn and giving away millions to random players. Where do you spend your time at SquadCraft? Helping to build bases, make money, and assist in raids. Why do you want to be a moderator? What is your goal as a SquadCraft moderator? To make SC more fairer. To be able to make it more enjoyable for the players regardless of their age and time playing. I want new players to come to the server and actually stay for more than 20 mins before someone teleports to them and griefs them. As a moderator, how will you affect SquadCraft? To make it a more entertaining and fair environment. We all want to have fun, by building bases, pvping, raiding and whatnot. With that said people should be reminded that this is a multiplayer game. People have feelings and its not fair for others to curse or put them down from time to time. Combating instances like that will make sure that more newer players will actually stay and they themselves become veterans of this game. Do you want Mod just to have Mod next to your name? Its got to the point in the last few months where i have grown sick and tired of the same people breaking the same rules and not receiving a punishment. It is also annoying when you see someone hacking and you cant get them reported due to a) having a bad laptop b) not having a mod on. The word Mod should not give the impression of some person who has more privileges than others. It should reflect that the person you are talking to is only regulating the game. A person who will help you if asked and will try to deal with any issue that arises. What happens if you are not chosen to be a moderator? I will still try and contribute to the server by helping people in need and providing them goods that they do not know how to make. (banners + fireworks etc). And probably troll others for the giggles. What kind of skills do you have? I have good communication skills when speaking to staff or normal players. I normally treat everyone with a degree of respect ( even hackers and griefers). I am also good at organizing events. I am a good listener and will try to see both sides of a situation when one occurs. Have you ever been banned? If so, why? This account was banned 2 years ago after the previous owner's little brother went on wrote some rude words in blocks outside prison. It was later overruled. Since then i have only been kicked and jailed a couple of times on kitpvp ( because i enjoy being a troll on that part of the server) Have you ever cheated, used hacks? If so, why? Never have and never will. I dont know how to hack and i dont really care. How do you treat younger players? The same way i treat old players and any other human beings. With respect. Any less would only reflect a person who deserves none. I do no care if someone has a rank or is even a mod themselves. There is no excuse to being an arsehole. If you think that you can be one because you have a rank then you are playing the game for the wrong reasons. Do you use TeamSpeak or skype? I can use skype but not at the same time with MC. List the things you've done to help the SquadCraft community and the SquadCraft server. I have occasionally brought up issues that have needed to be addressed in forums as well as in game( like /warp freestuff). I have helped new players along the way and as a result have been the reason to why they have gone on become contributors to the server. I have in the past helped staff members when it has come to issues or to test if something works. I have also reported several hackers. How many applications have you submitted before? When was the last one? This is my second application. Is there anything else you would like to say? I feel that their is still room for squadcraft to grow and become a much better and popular server than it is today. With better staff members regulating games, people would feel happier to play here rather than losing their stuff in the first 30 mins and quiting in frustration. Do you have any experience as a staff member of any organization? (doesn't have to be Minecraft) I work in my local supermarket as a general assistant. Stacking shelves, moving goods, helping customers with their issues as well as being as fully qualified first aider of our department. Tell us about yourself, about you, your character, personality and values. I have been to so many countries since my time in the world. From America to China. I play football, table tennis, rock climbing and cycling. I am involved of helping children with special needs and at the moment is applying to help teach foreign children english as a second language. I do believe that people have the chance of redeeming themselves as long as they do not abuse the trust of those who give them that chance.
