Server improvement suggestions will only be read if they follow this format - What you want improved: Ignore the necropost rule for the Staff Forum Section, Donation Forum Section, Report Rule Breakers, In-Game Server Improvements, and Bugs and glitches forums. Reason why: Many threads were left and forgotten in those forums. There have been many important threads that are currently left abandoned and ignored. These threads shouldn't follow the necropost rule. I checked the last page of each forum, and some threads haven't even been resolved yet. That is just plain ridiculous. Mod, Builder, and GFX Applications - A lot of people have been applying for mod, and some of their apps have been forgotten these past months. There could be some amazing applications out there, waiting to be looked at and approved. If they all remain dead like that, they may never be looked at again. There are some awesome applications that are flat out sitting in the last page of a Mod Application forum. (Not including Builder/GFX applications though) This will not do. Hacks, DDoS, Spam, Abuse, and Rule Breaker Reports - There could be some good reports that are just waiting to be resolved. I looked at some old reports. Many of them had good proof, however they haven't been resolved. We cannot let any rule breakers get away with it, whether it's hacking, spamming, etc. These threads should remain active as we shouldn't let them bypass their punishments due to a lack of views. Bugs, Donation Issues, and Suggestions - Many issues and suggestion threads are left abandoned, waiting to be looked at my surge or a moderator. If we ignore the necropost rule on these forums, we can find the roots to many problems, and add great server suggestions that haven't been looked at in months. With that, we will greatly improve our server no doubt. If we ignore the necropost rule on important forums like these, we can approve great applications that were forgotten, punish rule breakers that haven't received their punishment yet, and solve problems that players have experienced on SC. I do hope this suggestion will get you thinking.
Applications already have a "no-necropost" rule. They can be necroposted on all you want (except by the creator). As for rule breaker reports, if they're old, the player can't be punished because they might have already been punished or a couple other reasons. Bugs and suggestions get old so necroposting on them should continue to be against the rules because there is a high chance they're out of date. So pretty much the only part I agree with (other than apps because it's allowed) it the donation issues part.
"Might" was the key word. So basically, you aren't positive he/she was punished? We can't assume a person was banned. By leaving it without a necropost rule, a player can comment on a report so a mod can look at it and ban the player. The bug forum can remain a necropost forum as long as the bug wasn't found later on. Suggestions, there have been a lot of good suggestions so leaving them active and necropost rule free, people can update them and/or comment on them without receiving a penalty.
