Hi, my name is Joe but most people call me Jango. I have played Squadcraft for around 2 years. I spend time on most servers but mainly play on Factions. I believe ever since the recent addition of the new server that many people are just forgetting about the rules and almost just bypassing them as if they're not even there. What I believe should be changed: 1.) Well, for first I believe that a new plugin for swearing and spam should be installed to the server, as many players can easily bypass the current one and still swear and spam inappropriate language in chat or through a private message. 2.) A bit of a talk to the mods. In my opinion that probably not many people would listen to, the Mods, even though they are great at what they do, sometimes go easy on players who swear or spam. They say things such as: 'Don't Cuss' or 'Language.' I think they should just mute the player and make them learn the hard way. 3.) Hackers. Many people are just fed up of the hackers on Factions, I know I am. I think a new plugin should be added that could allow players to do - /Report. This would then alert staff in chat that a player has been reported to be hacking. The staff member with ease could then go and check the player and if Surge adds the command just Jail the player. This would reduce the amount of hackusating in the chat and help catch Hackers at the same time. 4.) A toggle for the Scoreboard. Even though it is not major or important, I believe players should have the chance to toggle their scoreboard in some way. In my opinion the board takes up too much of the screen and should be able to be removed on the players demand through a command. As I find if I'm recording a video the scoreboard can be very annoying for viewers and make it hard to see whats going on in the game at the current time. 5.) My final idea is that a few more God Apples should be added to the kits. I believe at the moment even though the kits have improved majorly, God Apples are extremely hard to come by. To put this into perspective, Bedrock's used to get 7-8 stacks of God Apples each week, now they get just over a stack each week which is a major decrease in numbers. And disable withers q.q But yah I think these are good. If I had the chance to edit my scoreboard I would only keep: my balance, kills, armour, and my regen. Its basically a better PvP mod built into the server :3
Scoreboards should be toggled and some mods need a talk (maybe a skype meeting every week?). Cussing, spam and hackers can all just be reported on the forums or they can contact a moderator with proof, can't stop cussing because people will just find more easy loopholes. Don't really think that more gaps added to kits would be good because the kits are already buffed.
You had some solid ideas but the god apple one was not one of the good ones. In my opinion gapples have become somewhat of a problem in SquadCraft they make it to hard to pvp because all the rich people just chug them and no poor people have no chance.
