Hello everyone, As I'm sure we can all agree, an update about factions is needed as it has been gathering new plugins a bugs. This will be split into different sections so you can find your issue easier. Item Lose (Ender Chest, Inventorys etc etc) This has been a major issue on Factions for a little, basically UUIDs are switching back and forward from online mode uuids to offline mod uuids. Every person who owns a minecraft account will have an uuid and it will never change, mojang added it so people can change their username but without bypassing a ban or losing their inventory. In offline mode users uuids are "offline" + playername into UUID format. While we do not know why this is happening, surge has noticed the issue and created an informative thread on the server software we use forums. (http://www.spigotmc.org/threads/feature-uuid-control-required.34745/) He includes a lot of detail, so thanks to him in not being lazy xD Corrupted Chunks (Base Loss) Early today factions crashed, the cause is unknown and it was down for some time until it was finally booted back up. Many chunks where corrupted and reset, we do not have any backups that would restore the base. Spawners! (Yes, The one from the shop) When the spawners buy signs were not covered up people were buying spawners thinking they'd work but they don't. Some sort of permissions issue is stopping you lot from buying the correct type so we are looking for a fix.
