What is your Minecraft Name? My minecraft name is riank1 (for those who ask my name is SouthAfrican) Why do you play Minecraft? Minecraft is a indie game like no other. My friend introduced me to minecraft around 3 years ago and I have loved it ever since. I love the community of different servers and being able to make friends online! There is obviously competition to face and to make you push to be the best. and if you are you feel accomplished and proud. Ive had think and thins through this game but have always stuck with it and has supplied me with lots of fun a something to look forward to after school! What is your TimeZone? I live in England so my time zone is GMT + 0:00 according to all the sites ive visited When are you usually online? I am usually online between 3:30pm to 7:00pm and then always a little later like 10:00-12:00 (British Time) I am also sometimes on early in the morning but not as often How many hours can you play & and much do you actually play? I can play 5-6 hours every school day and im on Minecraft around 4-5 hours everyday and the rest im chilling doing homework and so forth. on weekends I'm on all afternoon normall How long have you been playing squadcraft? Ive played on this server for a long time. Coming close to 3 years. All packed with good memories and never quitting (unless you count when my pc hard-drive died and I was not on for a month) I remember when Noah ran the server and how You (surge) worked your way up to become the co-owner and eventually the owner! All great fun! Ive made many friends on my journey through squad and I continue to do so. Where do you spend your time at Squadcraft? I am pretty much always on factions unless it goes down or its empty. if not I go to KitPvP until factions is more lively or back up! I pvp a lot on factions and also build bases and help newer players get into the game by giving tips and some of my kits so they can defend themselves Why do you want to become a squadmod/ what is your goal? Becoming a squadcraft Mod means that I can stop all those obvious hackers going around and all the advertisement and spam that is going round to improve the gaming environment for my fellow gamers and friends. A hard job but something that I believe I can help with. As a squadcraft moderator I wish to create the perfect gaming environment along with any other mods I may be partnered with. I also still want to have fun. I don’t want to be that grouchy mod as that sets a bad example. If I am a cheerful mod always happy to help that would reflect well on those around me creating a happy mood in the server perfect for killing, building, chatting, raiding and having a great time on a great server! I want to get rid of the annoyance of spammers and advertisers and promote how good the server really is! How will I effect squadcraft? As an active player of squadcraft I would be a constant. Always making the server that little bit better for those on it. It will be the small things that my job will improve. The lack of spammers and Advertisers. The Happy mood on the server, good competition and jokes all round. Many others will say this but I can tell you. As the classroom kind of joker guy I am I will strive to get the “lols” the “xDs” and the “hahahs” rolling in. Because a Happy server community Means a nice environment! Do you want Mod just for the “MOD” next to your name” Of course there is a small aspect of that. There is that aspect of me that wants to be different to others on the server, individual. But that’s not why I am applying. I want to work hard and I want the challenge of helping on a big server. To learn as I go along and to Teach those around me. To be able to say “I helped with that” or “ I helped make this server fun and as spam free and hacker free as I possibly could” To have that sense of achievement that I made a difference. That I helped someone who has supplied me with laughs and fun for around 3 years. What happens If im not chosen to be a mod? If im not chosen I would of course be disappointed. I would of missed out a chance to be a part of something amazing at a higher scale then I currently am. But then I would think. “ I tried my best. I did all I could, the owner knows what he is doing and those that beat me to this position are 100% deserving it and will do just as I wanted to do maybe as good or better then I would of” and I would get on with my minecraft life hopefully as happy as I am now. What skills do you have? I am intelligent. I was accepted into Reading Boys Grammar school a while back (A top school in the UK). I always challenge myself, pushing myself to the limit, even for other people I spend hours of my time to help them as I understand that what go’s around comes around. One good deed for another. I also know all the rules of this server J I am funny and quick witted, what is good as it gets me out of trouble and the odd fight at school as im not the biggest 14 year old around. I know the game well after my years in it and understand how it works, and am able to effectively teach others my knowledge effectively. Ever been banned?/Why? So far on my 3 years or so here I have never been banned and it’s a record I plan on keeping. I never hacked or ddosed or got myself involved in any over the top mischief that effects my fellow players game. Ever cheated?/Why? I don’t use cheats. I am a legit player. Never once have I downloaded any hacked clients or cheats. The closet thing I had was Keybinds that were allowed (I asked before I downloaded) How do you treat younger players? Having a younger sister I know how they act and what to say or not say to them. I respect them as any other player despite their age as when I was younger I hated to be discriminated by my age. Younger people can bring fresh ideas and keep the server going. Therefore should be treated with upmost respect as they soon will replace where we are now if we ever should leave. We don’t want to scare them away . Use Teamspeak or skype? Only my MOST trusted friends get near my skype and I still don’t use it as much. I use TeamSpeak now and like to talk without the ddos risk hackers pose as I learnt from and encounter with one that DDOS is not a nice thing to go through. How ive helped the server community and server Ive bought the Emerald rank on factions and various kits around the server to repay the server for the fun it provides as I understand servers are not so cheap to run. I have helped with various tasks such as helping BreezyDude building a house/Jail thing that unfortunately got blown up Ive also Followed all staff rules. I always throw spare loot and kills into the hoppers for new people (Even dropped bedrock armour down there once) so everyone has a fair chance. If someone messages me and asks for some loot I normally send 3 sets of god and 5 gapples their way and ally them so they also have a good chance to survive. How many apps have I sent before? This is my 3rd App I have ever sent. My last application was over 3 months ago (the restricted time) my second did very well until it got turned down after a few days as there was no space (a few mods forwarded it) Its always great fun making these aswell Sets my up for future when applying for jobs I guess. Learning at every step and turn and drop. Experience? Ive been a mod on my friends server that was decently sized. I even helped build the spawns and everything and got more people into the server. Also Ive built my own servers and added in plugins so I know how they run and what to not meddle with. Also my 3 years here gives me the knowledge of all the rules and how to approach different situations. All About me My name is Rian Kelly and I live in England I was accepted into a grammar school but turned it down to stay with my friends as I know how important they are to me. But I got accepted again when I re took the test so am still smart . Im hard working and funny. Rock I remember what happened you obviously don't. I was kicked from the Skype and the faction before you killed me. Then I was talking to jet who turned it on you. Emotion is hard to read over a game, I would of been disappointed and sad that I died no doubt but not angry or anything like that. Bit like how cjmay raided my base today and I lost 5 dubs of god and all the heads (a bit off topic) Anyway rock I can't change your opinion on that now. But maybe you will know what happened .
