This happened about 5 years ago when I was in grade 6, it was my birthday and I wasn't feeling that good and a had a bit of a head ache so I didn't really eat much or get involved with any of the party stuff. At about 10 pm when everyone left I just lied down on my couch because I didn't have enough energy to go to my bed. Slowly my head ache got worse and worse until I was in so much pain I couldn't take it anymore my dad then drove me to the nearest hospital. When I got to the hospital they knew something was up right away, they said my temperature was extremely high but I felt so cold, (my headache was still really bad) I was taken to the emergency room within 5 mins because they said it was serious and they had to bring my temperature down right away, after this point i dont remeber much but I'll tell you what i recall. at tdie point I didn't know what was going on around me and I was getting really dizzy. Then I passed out because of the high fever I'm guessing my dad said I was sweating like crazy and the doctors where doing everything the could to cool me down. It got so bad one of the nurses took my Dad out of the room because she was convinced that I would die, and she didn't want my Dad to watch me die she even told him to "prepare himself for the worst" The doctors told me I was luckly to be alive. the only reason I'm here today is the excellent health care system! If you where wondering I had H1N1 (swine flu) I stayed in the hospital for 1 week under close observation Note some of this info is from my Dad because I don't remember some of what happened @Yum44 @PukingRainbowz @EA_Sharks might find my story interesting If anyone has any near death experiences plz share
When I was 3 years old, I had this very rare disease called, Kawasaki's. (No, not the motor company) This is a disease that affects your heart, and its ability. Here's a brief description of what it does: Kowasakies, A condition that causes inflammation in the walls of some blood vessels in the body. As you can see, that's pretty bad in itself, Symptoms: - Turns Skin Red/Starts to peel -Vomiting (Every 1-2 hrs) -Pain in abdominals. No, I don't remember much, but I'm just glad to be alive. I still have to go in every few years to get my heart checked up on. P.S. There are only 20k cases a year in the U.S. Thanks for reading!/
I was in kindergarden when my near-death experience happened. So,my family and I went to a park. At this park you could jump off rocks to get to the opposite side of the whole park. I told my dad to catch me,i guess he didn't hear me,and i jumped off the third rock. I slammed the back of my back on a rock almost fracturing my skull and might've had a minor concussion. I hang on for dear life since the water is heading downstream into a large waterfall. Thank god my dad saw me and grabbed me... My almost fractured skull hurt, and i might've had a minor concussion...Happy me....
