More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty — less than $1.25 a day. 22,000 children die EACH DAY due to poverty. So on that lovely note, I propose a challenge for all of SquadCraft! For 3 days straight for can only eat $2.50 worth of food, this includes food from your parents. You can go to any stores you would like but you can only spend $2.50 per day thats how much you have. I'll be doing this challenge for 7 days you can do it for 7 days in a row as well if you would like! im not going o starve myself plus its the poor peoples' problems if they die so why should we care like if ur on a diet i suggest doing this challenge but for me i have to eat alot of meat
Well im not forcing you to do it, its just a fun challenge to see what its like for these people. and "who cares if they die" that's just low. You have no idea how incredibly lucky you are to have food, while the rest of the world is STARVING to death to feed you. So you might not care about the Billions starving to death but I would like to leave the world a little better then when I found it. Anything that costs $$$ so yes. Tap water is ok tho. (don't drink dirty water) The purpose of the challenge is to make you feel how it is to live in a country such as Africa. Although it is much much harder on them for exmaple. People would have to walk for hours to bring clean water home and there $2.50 also accounts for Health Care, Education and everything but we cant do that here.

A head of lettuce at most common grocery stores costs 50 cents - 1.50 cents, a head of lettuce would last a normal person 1.5 days. You could buy a couple apples with the extra $1 which would sustain 2 meals, so really living on $2.50 wouldn't kill you you may not enjoy it but you could survive. Yes the people in third world countries don't have grocery stores provided near them so obviously without help they cannot survive. I think things like these "challenges" are a waste of time you have things provided for you, use your time appreciating that and help those people you speak of by saving that extra dollar that you were going to buy that candy bar with and donate it to an organization that needs it. I guess my point is if you really want to prove an point and help these people do something and not waste your time on here telling people about how much money they have.
What you're saying is true, and I do donate to help others abroad all the time. This is just a fun little challenge people can do, that's all. You have a great point though

Did you guys and gals know that we Muslims also get this challenge as well which is known to be "Ramadan." Basically, Ramadan is a Muslim holiday which is only for 30 days and it's always during the summer (june-july.) How it works: We wake up really early in the morning like 3 am, as soon as a prayer calls out, we can't eat anything until the sun sets. We do this to feel the pain that ppl who don't even get food do. Inshallah, the starving ones end up safe! It's great too see you guys do this challenge as well! GJ and gl!

There is a similar Jewish holiday called Tisha B'Av on which you are not permitted to eat or drink from sunset to nightfall on the next day. There is also a Jewish holiday lasting eight days where you cannot eat bread or wheat products, called Passover.
Yesterday I had a can of soup for $1.00 and a little bit of rice For $1.50 Today I ate half the sandwich my sister gpt yesterday for $5.00 ($5.00 ÷ 2 = $2.50) So I guess I can't eat anymore for the rest of the day. Only 3 days left for me! Lol I just check in Canada lettuce is $1.50 here that's 3 times more than in the U.S xD
