People with Down's Syndrome don't have the same intellect and reasoning like you, I, and all the other people here do. He might have been tricked into filming this for all you know, and he might not even be aware of that fact. I mean, if the video is not to make fun of people with Down's then I can see how the video per se might not be offensive but I still feel like this is somewhat set out of to make fun of them, especially with the point you're trying to make using this video.

Title of the thread is to do with the "life" of a factions player. Not his/her disability. This video is a day for someone, who happens to have down's, with a comedic twist to it. It doesn't focus on the fact that they have Down's. If you watch the whole thing and look at the storyline, you'll see this.. If I wanted to imply factions players have Down's syndrome, I'd have said "Insight in to the mind of a xxx....", not life

I just found it really bad at first, but the point I'm trying to make is that you're trying to compare the quality of life of a factions player with the quality of life of a Down's Syndrome patient (I think?), but using the life of a Down's syndrome patient to attempt to show people what the life of a factions player is like is a bit iffy to me. I have a clearer view of what you're implying but I just don't feel all that comfortable with it. I'm defending the people with Down's Syndrome, and am in no way defending the norms of today's society or anything like that, but I see where you get sjw from.

How do you know how severe the guy's Downs Syndrome is? I can show you videos of Downs Syndrome people actually talking and saying they are aware of everything that is going on around them... You really are plucking at straws... the chances of him being tricked into being filmed are so slim, and you're willing to be a kill-joy due to that 1% chance. We wouldn't be laughing at a guy who didn't want to be laughed at. No one is getting hurt. Don't be that guy.

Even if it's not meant to make fun, I'm uncomfortable because the people in this video seem to have some form of pathology. One can only assume the video has some point it's trying to prove. @Hagrid. You have an excellent point. Dr. Karen Gaffney is the first living Down's Syndrome patient to earn an honorary doctorate. Your point is proven. But in this video, all these people seem to suffer from something, and it makes it seem a bit rude. I don't know if he is smart or not. Plus, I will say this again. While Yum may not be comparing the minds of a factions player with a Down's Syndrome person, he is comparing their life, it seems, and that is still not good to some level, in my opinion at least. I'm not sure what your views are and I don't intend to take extreme measures against them. It just makes me uncomfortable.
