So, a lot of you might know that i used to dos (I dont dos anymore and i dont plan on it anytime soon I regret doing it), i didn't ever do it on the server but i was dumb enough to do it, Heres some tips to stay safe from ddosers/dosers/doxers First tip. * Don't give your skype out to random people, only people that you trust with it. Tip two. * Use a vpn on random servers that look dodgy (Free vpn: http://www.hotspotshield.com/ ) (basically if this program is open and connected, it will hide your ip and switch it with a generated ip, but you cant always rely on vpn's because most vpns use a "data usage" allowance and once that allowance is "spent" you have to wait till the next day, most of the time. Third tip. *Make your skype less resolvable using proxy settings (Link: http://community.skype.com/t5/Secur...ect-your-IP-from-skype-resolvers/td-p/3874291 ) follow these steps and restart your skype and your skype should not be Or be less resolvable Forth tip. * use teamspeak instead only the teamspeak server owner has access to your credentials and I trust surge. Fourth tip is wrong. Moderators on the teamspeak also have the ability to see ip's. Although surge already gets your ip when you join the server so it does not really matter lol
