So I learned something new today. When players are hurt by thorns, it actually counts as an attack, granting the attacker half a second invulnerability. Sharp 6 sword with strength II can cause 20 hearts of damage, while thorns only causes .5 to 2 hearts of damage. The point is, when you wear thorns 3, the person attacking you won't be hurt because they are constantly being put into god for half a second every time thorns hits them. This normally happens when players get hit anyway, but it's better to hit your enemy for 40 damage instead of 4. Also thorns causes your armor to break faster. In conclusion thorns does a lot of bad things for everyone and I regret putting it on everything. My suggestion is to make thorns do damage directly to the player, without it being an official attack. That way players can put a lot more damage through without thorns getting in the way. What do you say? do you want this feature? The only down side is, it will likely increase everyone's damage, causing more frequent deaths.
The point of thorns would be more noticeable this way so I agree with having this From what I have seen he knows about pvp already, ingame and the technical crap
dont add it to hcf, make hcf so the kit is s1 p1 for the first map, then make it something harder to grind like p2 s3 after everyone has got used to hcf.
Why not? it just allows thorns to hurt people without stopping sword damage... like this should be global minecraft... or do you mean to not add thorns in general?
Oh okay. Well there won't be gapples ether. You won't be able to buy gapples from the kit section, or just from ranks in general.
