What is your Minecraft name: ElementBear

Why do you play Minecraft: Well, some people may be surprised to find this out, but I'm actually a very shy person. I have trouble starting conversations with people in the 'real world.' However, in Minecraft, I feel like I can totally be myself. It's like my shyness goes away. As a result, I find it quite easy to make new friends. I guess that's all I have to say on the matter. I also play lot's of server and have fun with other people, and get rid of my shyness.

What is your time zone: My timezone is CST in the United States of America

When are you usually online: I do have school, but I usually get on Minecraft after I get home and settle down at around 5 pm. I typically get off of the server to sleep at around 9:45-10:00 pm. Of course, this can't be exact. Like any other person, I sometimes need a break and don't get on for a day. I also may have days where I decide it's a good idea to drink a bunch of coffee too late at night and end up staying awake until 3:00 am, and play a little.

How many hours a day can you play: Like I stated above, I could be on up to 8 hours a day, from when I get home from school to my average sleeping time. Right now, I usually play about 2 hours. Sorry for the inconvenience but I have a lot of schoolwork. This is usually straight with no breaks, so I won't be playing chunky.

How long have you been playing SquadCraft: I've been playing SquadCraft for about 4 months now. I just joined forums, so don't think i'm not experienced, I go on forums a lot, I just never made an account A little over a year ago, I joined the forums. I'm not 100% sure exactly when I joined the server, but I know it was shortly before Chrismas. I'd been playing the server for about 2 months before I decided to join the forums.

What's your favorite memory on SquadCraft: A few months back, I was bored out of my mind on Kitpvp. Thankfully, an old friend of mine came to my rescue and decided he would show me a 'secret place' on the server. Anyway, this place was amazing. We spent hours exploring the whole place until we discovered every last bit of it. It really was very enjoyable. Since then, I've gone to that place a lot just to re-explore it. I know where every pebble is, haha. That was definitely my favorite memory.


Where do you spend your time at SquadCraft: Back in the day, I used to spend all of my time on SquadCraft's survival games. It was literally the only thing that I played. Now, I mostly spend my time on Kitpvp. I love pvping on there and it is definitely a great way to meet new people. I swear, I meet so many each day that I'm having trouble storing names much less memories in my head. But now I am more into factions

Why do you want to be a moderator? What is your goal as a SquadCraft moderator: Alright, I know you probably get tired of reading all of these similar moderator applications, but I must get my point across, so bare with me! From experience, I know that being mod can be very stressful and hard work at times. I believe that I have the potential to succeed as a moderator in making this server a more pleasant environment for its players. Right now, I am just like any other regular player out there, but I want to change that. Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying there is anything wrong with being just a 'regular' player. Players like that are absolutely vital for SquadCraft to flourish and get as good as it can be. I believe in order for players to really love the server, they need a little push. A push in the form of an exceptional moderator. I want to be that push. My goal as a moderator would be not just to stop, but to prevent rules from being broken.

As a moderator, how will you affect SquadCraft: I will try to affect SquadCraft in as many ways as I can. I will not just be able to answer people's questions, but I will be able to put an end to rule breakers. It bothers me when I see people breaking rules and there isn't really much that I can do about it. I do the only thing that I can do; try to get a moderator on to deal with the person breaking the rule. .Of course when there are no moderators on, some people see this as a chance to break a rule and get away with it. I'm usually on the server when moderators aren't on and as a result, I see a lot of this. If I get chosen to be a moderator here, I will do my best to prevent people from breaking the rules in the first place.

Do you want Mod just to have Mod next to your name: No, not at all. Even without the Mod tag, I still try my hardest to help new players in getting used to the place. I want moderator to make a difference in the server, not my appearance. Some people may say that they want Mod next to their name because they believe that it will automatically make people respect them, but I think that is false. I know that I must earn people's respect by doing my job well, not just having the job.

What happens if you are not chosen to be a moderator: Well once again, I'm sure you see this question answered in the same manner on each and every moderator application, but this is my honest answer. I will continue to do exactly what I am doing right now. I will try to go out of my way to answer any questions people may have.


What kind of skills do you have: I can't say I have many skills on Minecraft, but I do have a few hobbies in real life. I'm semi-good at knitting. x3 I am very strong in math but I mostly suck at all other subjects, haha. Don't know if I'm that good and this sounds very cliche, but I like singing. Lots of time to practice in the shower.I bet my family loves that...

Have you ever been banned? If so, why: Yes, I've been banned before. The reason for this was that someone came on SquadCraft when there were no mods on and spammed their server's ip. I find this very disrespectful, immature, and just plain rude. Of course, there was not much I could do about the advertiser, so I went onto the ip and talked to the owner of that server. He told me that on their server they rewarded players for advertising on other servers...This annoyed me and I told the owner my opinion on that and the next thing I knew, I was banned. Pretty stupid, right?

Have you ever cheated, used hacks? If so, why: No, I have never used hacks. I find it pointless to hack not to mention I would imagine it would be quite boring. I would want to experience the game the way it was made.

How do you treat younger players: I treat younger players with the same amount of respect that I treat older players. I understand that most younger players may have more questions. I try to answer these questions to the best of my knowledge. I also see people cussing quite a bit whenever mods aren't around and I want to stop that for the sake of the many young players that are on SquadCraft.

Do you use TeamSpeak or skype: I do use Skype.

List the things you've done to help the SquadCraft community and the SquadCraft server: Well, I was mod in the past so I believe that I helped the server to my best ability then and hope to do so now aswell. Since there are so many new players constantly, I get the chance to answer plenty of questions daily. I guess you could count that as helping out the server.

How many applications have you submitted before? When was the last one: This is my first application so I apologize if it isn't the best. When I was mod in the past, I was chosen by Yonda with no application.

Do you have any experience as a staff member of any organization: I was previously a moderator on this server. I was mod for about 11 months before the whole SquadServers switch happened. I have also been mod on a few small servers in the past.

Tell us about yourself, about you, your character, personality and values: Well, my name is Mario. As of now, I am 15 but I will be 16 in a couple of months. As you read at the beginning of this application, I'm a shy person. I guess I can seem a bit rude before you get to know me. I'm not intentionally rude though, I promise. :3 Me being shy just makes me seem rude I guess. One of my favorite things in the world is music. Most of my day, I lock myself in the world of music with some good headphones. My favorite band would have to be Twenty One Pilots. They are great to pvp to! Anyway, that is a little bit about me.

Not having 100 messages doesn't, or shouldn't, be the only reason you give them a -1. It's not like he's a staff moderator , or the grammar police. Mod skills don't involve perfect punctuation and grammar. If it was a great app in your eyes don't let the "Recommended 100 messages" get in your way :c

Ill be honest. Great app and all and u probably are a nice guy but i never see u but that may be just the timezone difference but either way good job. You put some thought into that so well done.
