The Skywars Games S2 *Edited Format*

Hi everyone!
Welcome to the application thread for the SW games season 2.

Now, before you start raging in the comments, GGiinger has given us permission to take over. (We have proof of him saying this)

A lot of you have missed the SW games, as GGiinger and Dibleyy are too busy to do this event.
As they made the thread almost 2 months ago, here is a new applications thread, as people would have left the server and others would have joined.

Instead of picking names from a hat, prioritise ones who 1) weren't in season 1 and then 2) take the ones that signed up first as a priority because it's only fair to them

edit: Also, this will get you quicker apps as in the current situation, people may just think "I'll sign up towards the end, since I have the same chance as someone who signs up now"

Coz everyone expected me to win and I was like... must not lose must not lose

 

Tatters, I changed the format to current skywars points as well, so based on the players you pick out of a hat, you can put them in games based on their points, to make it more fair.

1000-5000 - 1 group
5000-10000 - 1 group
10000-20000 - 1 group
20000-30000 - 1 group
30000-40000 - 1 group
40000+ - 1 group

 

I might of killed you if Hugh and George hosted a server that my computer could handle </3

 

btw, if tatters and crazy are playing then you were the 24th to enter :3

 

Personally I dont think putting the best players together is fair because they are as likely to get out as someone else who is lower and less deserving.

The competition is about finding the best ones and having them in the finals, not really making a higher chance for an upset/fluke

Thanks for editing the post Jonny, I don't think we will put the players into best to worst rounds because it doesn't really matter as mcsmelter said. It's a good idea but sorry probably not going to use it!

Right, Lets clear some things up here.
1. You do not need skype, just message me on the forums and that will be a suitable form of messaging.
2. We will not be picking the people out of the hat, we will be narrowing the applications (that will probably rise over 32) to 32.
3. Jonny, I appreciate your point, but that will make the final really uneven, so nope.
4. The games will be picked in convenience (Timezones and such) Not based on points.
