with a sword you can: Strafe, crit, fishing rod, flint_n_steel

uhh, to correct your 2nd point,
with a bow you can: shoot, strafe, crit, fishing rod, flint_n_steel, shoot all ranges, deal more damage
with a sword you can: Strafe, crit, fishing rod, flint_n_steel
