Skywars Mod App -weathers

Hi. For those who do not know me I am weathers. I have played on squadcraft for a few years and I want to help out the server in any way possible. An effective way to do this is to be a moderator of the server. So this is my application for moderator on skywars.

Age: I am not willing to share a personal detail as such this online. Sorry but its how I have been raised. I do indeed meet the age requirements.

Timezone: GMT (UK)
When I come online, most of the time no mods are on. This is because of my timezone and the time I come on. This leves a window for rule breakers to be free. I want to put them back in their cage.

Respectfulness: 9
Respect plays a big part in my life. Here are some reasons of why that's so:

A) At my school, we must be very respectful, and it shapes is into being respectful human beings. I am very respectful towards everyone. Unless you piss me off.....

B) Being respectful Is polite, and I want to come across as a polite, kind, respectful person.

I would be very respectful to staff, as I am now, and to decent players (not in terms of skill, as in terms of the act nice, etc). This is why I believe this to be a 9.

Obedience: 8
I follow a tricky instructions and I am up to do favours for people, although I am not the most obedient person on the server, I believe I am up there.

Experience: I am Co-owner/Head builder of server "herocraft"
It isn't a great big server but it is good practise for a bigger server. I mainly out rule breakers to justice and just help out the server where I can. I interview new staff, build new minigames, moderate the server. Will Herocraft get inthe way of my job in Squadcraft? No. The server is a bit up and down, and is down for maitaince at the moment. Squadcraft will take priority.

I have also been a helper on a small pixelmon server. I helped new players and reported rule breakers to the mods. This was basically a "Trusted" rank. Unfortunately, the server went down about 5 months ago. I never found out why.

I was admin on a server my Friends made. It is still up, but none of us really go on it and it is a small server, though we are looking to get back into it soon, though this will not stand in the way of my duties to Squadcraft.

I have read the 'decline template' and I know how to do my job on the forums, and I have read what to do in-game;
1. Warning
2. Kick
3. Mute
4. Longer Mute
5. Jail/Mute
6. Request permanent ban & 12 hour jail & mute

Exceptions

Advertising: 12 hour mute
Advertising IP: Request permanent ban & step 5
Hacking: Request permanent ban & Step 5
DUPING: Request permanent ban & Step 5
DDoS/DOX threats: Request IP & permanent ban & Step 5
TIPS/ESSENTIALS
ALWAYS be sure to get PROOF. If not, your sanctions will be considered as abuse & will jeopardise your position as a moderator.
Mods must ALWAYS haveSocialSpy on (/socialspy on) to allow them to moderate player
messages as well.
SkyWars mods MUST use/tempban in the place of mute & jail, as they conflict with the plugin and cease to work correctly.
Any Past Offences?: I was muted a couple if months ago for using a hashtag, apart from that nothing else!


Reasons: Well, through out the past years, I have shown dedication, helpfulness and general love to this server. I want to help Squad expand, and to do that is to rid of the rule breakers. Like I have mentioned, there are not really any mods on in my timezone which come on when I do, which leaves a big window for the hackers, spammers etc to be free. I want to cage them and put a stop to this. I have a decent amount of experience and know how hard it can be to be a staff member and i redpect that, and to help out i am applying to be a moderator. I also know what to do as a mod of squadcraft. I am a well known player in Squad and I am good friends with some players and staff. I am a big part of the squad cummunity and try to do things to help out, such as participate and help out in cumminity events, i chat to members, help out new members and try to help out mods. I am never purposefully mean or unkind or break the rules. I understand that I nee to be checking people messages, which I like as a rule. I don't like people being mean to others, and even worse when they can't be man enough to say it to everyone. As being a member for over 2 yrs roughly, I know a lot of the ins and outs of squadcraft. I think of rule breakers as dogs, and I have to put a lead in them to control them and others. I tend to see about 2-4 hackers daily. I would love to pick them up and drop them in a bin. I see spammers quite frequently. I would LOVE to put then to justice. It would be great to see squadcraft with less and less troublemakers each day. I have been a long player on squad and it would be a pleasure to help out the server as being a mod. I don't stand for no nonsense, though I am up for a bit of banta and a joke, but I am serious when needed. I am actually a people person and I believe no arguments will rise with my colleagues and the non-rulebreakers. I hope to become a future mod and I am grateful for you to read this application!

I think the age is fine but u have to tell us. Also u can't be staff on other servers

 

We kind of need to know your age as we cant just take your word for it.

1. You feel like sharing part of your name yet you don't want to share your age. I don't believe you're 15. You also need to put your age down. It is a requirement.
2. You hardly have any reasons to be a moderator.

Thanks everyone. I actually do play quite a bit, just not as much as I used to. Still 3-4 hrs a day tho

 

1) there can be many people with the same name, age narrows it down.
2) I have not too many reasons because I have a lot of reasons throughout the application.

Well I don't want to share my age on a online website, u can never trust some1 u meet online, but I was sort of pressured into it

In Australia, you're at school until 17/18, depends when you were born.

 

In America you are also in school until 17/18 but then you typically go to college for 4 more years+ depends on your career choice,

 

We have University here instead, how long you go depends on how much more your mind can take.

 

There's all kinds of colleges here lol.

And the main reason kids go to college here is partying XD

You should use proper grammar on a moderator application. Do not use analogies such as "y, u". Shows you are not putting effort.

Well, I personally don't find anything wrong with it in the comments but we all have different opinions. I'm doing it in the comments because I need to do stuff and I can't sit here typing for that long

But, ultimately, do you support me to be a mod?

 

a)If you think about it there is no difference between somebody saying they are over the age limit and somebody saying they are, for example, 15. In both situations it simply comes down to trust..
b)Weathers is a boss, definite support.
