Mk, so one of my biggest pet peeves is when people use the wrong "your". EA_Sharks is about to break it down: Your - a possessive adjective to show belonging, i.e. Your coat is very soft. You're - contraction of the words "you" and "are", i.e. You're so kind! PLEASE, before you type "your" or "you're" say it aloud to yourself without the contraction: i.e. You are coat is very soft - doesn't make sense? Use your! i.e. You are so kind - makes sense? Use you're! Thank you to those who actually took the time to read this, EA_Sharks - improving the grammar of complete strangers on the internet.
I understand this but sometimes when I'm on my phone just checking the forums I reply quickly and dont really bother with grammar.

I love the fact that the title of this thread is grammar lesson, and you start the thread with "mk"... Sorry had to point that out. Anyways, thanks for making a thread on this, even if you're just screwing around on the internet everyone should be able to use "you're" and "your" properly. That and "there", "their", and "they're". Also, a fun video (sorry for bad language in video):
I would usually say that most people can't be bothered to use completely perfect grammar, but honestly I think most people genuinely don't even grammar.
Eh I don't think anyone can be bothered to do anything perfectly. Same here though, I don't think most people know how to use proper grammar.
That, too, is incorrect grammar. There should be a comma after "Sorry", unless the subject of the sentence is somebody named "Sorry". :3
That it would, I was just making the point if you're going to give out lessons on the English language spelling would add to your lesson. Sorry if I made it sound that way, because you're right grammar and spelling are different.
Nice session on Adverbs, here is how I like to think of it. The adverb modifys the Verb or even another adverb. For example You is the verb Add r (the adverb) And you get your
