Once you earn more money you should obsidian proof your base, water your good chests with glowstone on top for it to be unraidable. Try not to focus on design mostly when you really need the money in poor situations xD good building though Max.

 

I like building, I'll build over and over again if I have to :3

 

Lol, you're going to hate building 50x50 obsidian bases with big claims to have great defenses that take soo long to finish no matter how much time you have on your hands.

When you make big claims to not be raided easily and invest more money.

Useless when they're small and they don't have efficient defenses, yes they end up being raided but in a whileeeeeeeee, and when it's raided.. by then you're rich to make replicates of those bases and you go on...

 

Oh ok..Well btw @Maxxy, just learn this, don't let random people in your base. For example, I asked u if I could see ur base and u simply said yes. Haha. Imagine I was all jerk and tpd to u and tntd ur base.

Yeah everybody's a jerk lemme tell u that. Probably like 1/100 of facs r trustworthy. I was playing mine pley today for the first time in long time and he wanted to team with me since I was rekking him so he tried to kill me later. He fell in some lava idk how....karma

People could fly over and find it easily :/ the rank mvp+ could. They could find those bases easily by clicking on the randomtp sign at spawn and fly over and check chat and do some commands or when they come across it (if they have a fac desc) they could see in chat the fac desc and find the base from there.

but what if the wooden cottage in the forrest was surrounded by trees? The it would blend in

That would work if you didn't have a faction description and/or you don't randomly be found by someone doing commands every inch of the way looking for a raid. Also, people could use the XRay Mod and find your base :/

 

It's factions for a reason, rebuilding bases is kinda normal.

 

But if you keep building bases non-stop.. that's just bad. Sometimes people will just wait until you put good stuff in your base and then boom.. you're raided and setback like weeks..

 

It doesn't take weeks to make your base look fabulous, it takes about 2+ hours total to do that. And that's the fun part about factions, pvping, dying, getting more loot. There's no challenge if you always have loot to use in your chest.
