What is your Minecraft name? Patrick_Harmon Why do you play Minecraft? I play minecraft for a few reasons. For one I play it because it brings some enjoyment after coming home from school/sports/work and I enjoy playing the game and just having fun with people. Then I play minecraft to have some time to play with the friends that I’ve made over minecraft and be able to make jokes, have fun, and pretty simply; screw around. Generally in the past I’ve used minecraft as a stress reliever and played it just to take my mind off things. But now I’ve been playing it and actually enjoying the time that I’ve spent playing it. What is your time zone? EST When are you usually online? After school and after I finish all my homework and all activities for school. How many hours a day can you play? How many hours do you actually play? Weekends are normally free for me but soccer has been occurring on the weekends. And usually 4ish hours a day, but haven’t been playing recently due to sports. How long have you been playing SquadCraft? It's been about 3-4 years since I first started to play but it's been off and on with the whole situation with the other servers I’ve participated on. I played on the server when McMMo wasn’t even called McMMo, but was HardCore Factions. Not many people can say they’ve been part of the community for that long.. What's your favorite memory on SquadCraft? My personal favorite memories on SquadCraft would be, the moment I was accepted to an Emerald’s faction “Samceal” and made a few friends within that faction, JelloCraftHD, MiniBunny, Achoo, and a few others. The next would be was when I was invited to join penilepickaxe’s faction and made more friends from within the faction, Steeler908, Steelrfan17, Tyler, and Steel_Mallard. But if it comes down to it my favorite two memories would be, when @TcWxFUSIONS and I became friends on McMMo and are still friends to this day. And the other would be when I received the position of moderator on McMMo after my second application, which unfortunately was lost which makes me sad, cause I wish I could re-read it today xD. Where do you spend your time at SquadCraft? Normally, since McMMo doesn't get many players (never really been able to hold players tbh..) But I roam around to like KitPvP and Factions. Used to play Skywars a lot but haven’t played in a while. Why do you want to be a moderator? What is your goal as a SquadCraft moderator? I would prefer to be moderator to improve the community and be able to help with the server and benefit it for my time being gone. My goals for becoming moderator would be to better my skills as a staff member and be able to learn new things with servers and be able to improve the server with the skills I learned. And generally to improve chat, not have people be able to go around and completely disrespect someone and have zero consequences for ruining someone's time playing minecraft. If I were to become moderator it would be a weird change back into a position on SquadCraft as people used to hate how I moderated towards the end of my position before the mod team was cleared. It wasn’t because I “abused” or anything, I was just very harsh on the rules and used whichever rule against a player and punish them without blinking an eye. But since that time, I personally believe I have changed from that way and believe I’m more of an understanding person and a lot more mature that I was then. As a moderator, how will you affect SquadCraft? Well, depends how people were to accept me. If people were to welcome me/welcome me back, I would be more considerate of how people thought of me and how I were to act with them and be able to have a simple conversation. But if people were to be harsh when I would come back, it wouldn’t fly over with me as well as it could, but I can understand how they might feel and would ask for them to rethink how the view me from today forward. Do you want Mod just to have Mod next to your name? As far as I’m concerned, having “Mod” next to your name doesn’t really accomplish much. It shouldn’t change how people see you, or act around you just because you’ve become a staff member. If I were to receive a moderator position it wouldn’t change how I act to other players/other staff members as I am just another player on the server that’s been given the opportunity to help with the server in any way seen necessary What happens if you are not chosen to be a moderator? If I wasn’t chosen to become a moderator I would probably go back to playing with my friends and just enjoying the time I get to spend with them. I would most likely also go back to everyday life and work on athletics, school, and working. Obviously I would edit my application for the next time I were to apply and hopefully do better and possibly be accepted. But there's nothing that I could do to sway your choice on this subject as it’s all up to you. What kind of skills do you have? I have a variety of skills that is applied when it comes down to moderating a server. I have about 2+ years of experience moderating different servers, including SquadCraft, and would use that experience to continue to learn different ways to moderate the server. Have you ever been banned? If so, why? From SquadCraft, No. From other servers, Yes. BadLion and Kohi are two of the servers I’ve been banned from, as for using an autoclicker to troll my friends that were on at the time. But since I have no interest of playing those servers competitively as of right now, nor wanting to play them at all, I have no interest on being unbanned from them. Have you ever cheated, used hacks? If so, why? Yes I’ve used hacked clients a few times before. But never found it enjoyable nor was it beneficial to me. Plus I’m too lazy to figure out how they work now a days so I don’t even bother with them. How do you treat younger players? It all depends on how they make their first impression on me. If they are kind and or do not know what they should be doing, I would help them and show them how to correctly present themselves on this server. If they start off badly it will be difficult for them to win back any form of respect from me as I for one, I find it difficult to forgive someone who openly disrespects me. But nevertheless, it's possible. Do you use TeamSpeak or skype? I am capable of using both, but haven't been using Skype/TeamSpeak as much as I could. But I will be making a new skype in the close future to remove old contacts and to lose some other things. List the things you've done to help the SquadCraft community and the SquadCraft server. In the past, I brought a lot of new players to McMMo as the previous admin was planning to shut it down. I also spent a majority of my time as moderator on McMMo, KitPvP, Factions, and Skywars. I personally think that my presence then brought a new form of view on myself and the server. How many applications have you submitted before? When was the last one? This would be my third application as my first was denied for lack of content/detail. My second application was accepted after being denied a few times as the previous admin just decides who he likes and hates for the rest of time from first impressions before even meeting the person, but none the less I was accepted and was moderator for 5ish months before the whole staff team left. And this would be my third application. Is there anything else you would like to say? Not really other than, the previous me from this server has changed a large amount to now and people should get to know me before they make any assumptions. Do you have any experience as a staff member of any organization? (doesn't have to be Minecraft) Being staff on about three servers and looking for more options in the near future. Most haven't seen me in awhile as I'm playing soccer and I'm in High School as I stated in the app, but I've been getting on occasionally to talk to people and just say hi to old friends. And when I was mod on SC awhile ago, I admitted I wasn't the best mod obviously. I was always so hard with the rules and used every single one of them. SS, lets be honest, after Yonda started to use ddos as motivation. One would think work motivation would go down. Should know the whole story before you judge. But thank you for the input.
Whenever me and dylanmineman were online you would call us names, jail us for no reason and mute us. You used your power to intimidate us as well. We were scared to come online because we knew we'd be met with harassment/bullying whenever we did.
I'm 100% positive every time I jailed/muted you it was for previous actions that you left the server before any of the mods that were online could punish you for. I actually put the effort into making sure you were punished for breaking the rules. I never used my so called "power" as a staff member to intimidate you nor did I ever call you names. I remember this situation. Me and Pat planned to go out in full enchanted phantom and go kill Cale and Popinz as we didn't like them at the time and when we went towards them they warped which is against the rules so Pat rightfully jailed them resulting in no abuse.
