Highschoolers PLEASE help

I'm in 8th grade and next year for hs i want to be in honors english and history. My sister doesnt have too much memory of middle school but she was never in honors classes in middle school either. Shes in hs and still isnt. All her classes she had an A. High A's. I want to be in honors and i have A's. If teachers recommend she wouldve been recommended tho.. I don't know what else to do. There's also a paper at the end of the year for electives and classes you want to take, but it asks if your in honors (something) check honors something i think. If someone had a similar paper tell me. Just plz help

I think you could choose whether or not you wanted to be in the NJHS

I take honors in all classes except for algebra. Math is my weakness. You are given more work and you must work at a quicker pace when you take an honors class, start off small and work your way up.
