    P3 it's kind of sad and laughable at the same time. Ddosing is a serious offense and if @Penguino files a report, depending on the threat the US are capable of charging for this federal offense. I don't see the point of players directly saying they will ddos because one, it's against the laws and two, it's stupid

    It is an offense when it comes to you as a threat. If you read the US laws. Under section 3 subsection 1 or 2 it will explain about ddos threats

    I always thought that unless it causes real damage, it isn't a felony.

    See, 18th USC § 1030 (Fraud and Related Activity in Connection With Computers)

    (a)

    Whoever;

    Section 5, Subsection A) knowingly causes the transmission of a program, information, code, or command, and as a result of such conduct, intentionally causes damage without authorization, to a protected computer.

    Section 5, Subsection B ) intentionally accesses a protected computer without authorization, and as a result of such conduct, recklessly causes damage.

    Section 5, Subsection C) intentionally accesses a protected computer without authorization, and as a result of such conduct, causes damage and loss.

    Section 7) with intent to extort from any person any money or other thing of value, transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication containing any

    Section 7, Subsection A) threat to cause damage to a protected computer.

    Section 7, Subsection C) demand or request for money or other thing of value in relation to damage to a protected computer, where such damage was caused to facilitate the extortion.

    Shall be punished as provided in subsection © of this section.

    This is what I found
