Just today, my teacher thought that it would be a great idea to have a feminist unit. And so we did. Long story short, pretty much everyone in my class seemed to be lackluster when it came to common knowledge about feminism. My teacher even stated multiple times throughout the class that she thinks that every boy in the class should be a feminist, and even worse, she thinks the pay gap is real (which it is not). And it doesn't end there, she made us define the words feminism and meninism. But before that, she asked us to define feminism in our own words, and of course, it was mostly the girls who jumped in. From what I could tell, even they didn't know the correct definition either. Anyway, it was the worst English class I have had yet.
