CSGO game mode

Now I know what you're thinking about this title. Yes I know it's a retarded idea and surge would never do it, but @surgetheurge pls read this Papi. I know why squad is going downhill. And it's hitting rock bottom soon. Even I don't play more than once or twice a month just to check up on things but here is my idea:

CSGO game mode: if you want to keep squad alive thriving with more players, we need a new game mode. Now I'm basing this off of CSGO because personally that is one of my favorite games. Counter Strike Global Offensive (CSGO), if you already didn't know, is a first person shooter, with terrorists and counter terrorists that fight against each Other with different objectives; planting bomb, rescuing hostage and other stuff. Now I'm not sure wheither @surgetheurge would go for this idea, but I personally think it would be extremely fun. Some maps that I think should be added first are: de_dust de_dust2 de_office and de_cache. I think it would be a fun experience in the minecraft world with working gun sounds, amazing textured maps, etc. Now mineplex has the same type of game mode (don't ban me for advertising it's an example) but you can make a better version. And make it work the same way, like you can join a game of either deathmatch, casual, and even competitive. And I know this is a lot of work but it's possible. You got to remember that we have only a few players and that won't be enough.

 

Tru but if we promote it, more players would come on.

 

My question is how? I see your point just you would need to think how it will get promoted. Now I'm no server expert but that is a key figuring out how to get players to join.

So my main promotion method is to create a YouTube video, on surge's Channel and maybe even mine (even tho I'm not that popular on there). If @surgetheurge can read this, maybe he can help. See if he was active, the server wouldn't be dead. Also I would promote is through Reddit and other site where communication is possible. I'd spread the word personally through skype messages so old squadcraft and mc players.
@Minersof49ers could also help with a trailer to this gamemode, if he wants to help out

Exactly, but we can make it a million times better. Mineplex'S is shit tbh. We could easily make a better one.

 

Squadcraft doesn't need a new gamemode squadcraft needs to turn its attention on its current sub servers and fix them simple as that.

 

What would be a good idea is to improve the quality of the regular gamemodes.

First get the player base to a proper amount before adding gamemodes wich require players

 

CSGO is an awesome game, I can imagine if we bring it to the server somehow.

I think it is an amazing idea but I don't think it's something that SquadCraft should have. It just doesn't suit the server in my opinion as we don't have many custom games. It's a great idea but I think personally we should focus on improving the server as it is before we consider adding new game modes.
