Thank You & Goodbye

Hi there everyone,

As you can see from the title, this will be one of the last times I post on here. To get straight to the point, I'm leaving SquadCraft. It may come as a surprise to a lot of you that I've made the decision to leave the server seeing as I've always been very dedicated as a mod, but I can assure you, this has been something I've had made up in my mind for a matter of months now.

Best way to start these kind of posts is talking about how you found the server, so here goes. A few years back, I found a YouTuber called TheCampingRusher who used to play a lot of hunger games. He used to play on a server called UberMinecraft which I also played on. One day, he made the decision to start recording on a new server. It was called "NoahCraft.net". The SG on there seemed much better & more balanced than UberMC, so I decided to move as well. For the next few months, I had very little to do with the community, I just played SG. Throughout this whole time, I had started YouTube again. Then, one day, as I was playing on SquadCraft, a broadcast came up in the chat saying a new minigame was going to be added to the server! This was called SkyWars. I don't know why, but I had instantly made the decision to record it, without even knowing what it entailed. And so began SkyWars.

I've been a member of the SquadCraft Staff team for over 9 months now. I've put 1000's of hours of my time into making the server a better place, and for me, in every single way, it's paid off. I've met so many amazing people doing this, I have nothing other than SquadCraft & being a mod to thank for my YouTube channel getting so big & I've also made countless friendships.

Now, time to thank people. First of all, I wanna thank everyone as a whole. Even though I'm leaving, I am still convinced SquadCraft has one of the best communities out of all Minecraft servers. You're all awesome people and, even if you hate me, I still thank you deeply. I also want to thank every single moderator who's ever been a member of staff while I was as well. You've taught me things, helped me through tough times & most of all, become some of my closest friends here on Squad (Special shoutouts to Aphex, who's always kept me company ^-^). Thanks to Flashy, who went from someone I feared to being one of my close friends within a couple of months. Of course, where would I be without Yonda. He's the one who promoted me from Mod to YouTuber to ModTrainer. We have our quarrels, but at the end of the day, we're still great buds, so thanks for everything man. Finally & most importantly, I wanna thank surge. I and many others forget that he is the one who built & maintains this server for us to play for free. He's done this for 3 years now and continues to host an amazing server. He's the reason I've been able to do my SkyWars series for the past 99 episodes, he's the reason my channel has grown so much & of course, he is the reason I have had the opportunity to meet every single one of you, so for that, I am deeply thankful & forever grateful.

I understand there are a lot of questions unanswered in this post. For those wondering, I posted a video on my channel going through some more stuff, so if you'd like to hear more about this, I'll post a video at the bottom of this for y'all to see, as it will be more in depth.

So, with all that said, that's it. The end of my legacy. Thank you so much for everything. I love you all. I wish Surge & SquadCraft all the best in the future! I hope it continues to grow & offers a continually great experience.
