I'm guessing she was embarrassed to require help from one of her students, so she made up the excuse that you are being rude and irresponsible. As a teacher, she is supposed to help you be a morally just and stable person - but instead she made you question whether helping people was immature. Well, she is in the wrong and don't stop being helpful and kind due to an idiotic teacher. Education in Canada doesn't seem to be the best
IMO the only reason I am even a cinch of smart is because I use to self study a lot as a kid since I was always alone. That is probably the same for a lot of people since I see the smarter people are almost always looking lonely and most teachers just chose the job because it is one of the more stable jobs that you rarely get fired from so only a few are really hands on and educate us instead of giving us some stupid packet to complete, like that will help. Most smart people are smart because they took their education into their own hands.
