I was about to say all of them, but that's too biased, so let's describe them and break them down The most rebellious album of all of them is obviously Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends. This album is comparable to a family. The songs aren't sequels or prequels, but they all have the same theme. War, love, death, and life. The most well composed song? Probably Viva La Vida. 1. Viva La Vida has limited use of the electric guitar, and the song takes great advantage of a special electric violin which is able to go from the lowest groan on a cello to the highest squeak of a violin. Bass guitar can be heard when a chorus part of the song appears, and drumming generally gives you a powerful sense when listening to this song. 2. Violet Hill Violet Hill is the start of a new era of Coldplay, being the first proper single of the album VLVODAAHF. This song is different and as the bass guitar is more prominent, and the electric guitar feeds the song, with the song's climax being based on a tune which you can play air-guitar along to. This is Coldplay's first anti-war protest song, and gives you more of a rebellious feeling. 3. Lost! Lost! is based on a church organ, and can serve as a motivational song for you on pretty much anything. The song relies on its ambient organs and consistent foot stomps and claps to give you the feeling that you can. Moving on to Mylo Xyloto, this album is essentially about love and escaping from a government which is corrupt. 1. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall This song is starts off with a synthetic noise, and slowly builds up with an electric guitar solo, later joined by bass and drums. The song gives you a sense of partying and forgetting about your worries. 2. Paradise Yea, you know that fugitive elephant with his trusty unicycle. Paradise is good at getting the message of the whole MX album to the audience. You can also interpret it as a girl with a big imagination who is in her own world. The song is good to listen to as a celebration song. Ghost Stories. A seemingly depressing and greyish album. While I can't really argue with that, GS does have some happy songs. 1. A Sky Full Of Stars https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VPRjCeoBqrIVPRjCeoBqrI This is with no doubt, the most colorful and happiest song of GS. An ecstatic crowd of followers with the band members each as one-man bands, ballons, and whatnot. The song implies how strong your love for someone can be. Avicii co-produces the song to give it that property of a party. 2. Magic https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Qtb11P1FWnc Magic is a song that isn't overly happy, but not all that depressing. Calm would be the way to describe it. The new drums, the bass guitar which constructs the whole song, the piano, and the limited use of electric guitar make this song one to listen to when trying to calm down or when people are being flat-out annoying. Oldies: These songs come from Parachutes, A Rushed of Blood to the Head, and X&Y. 1. Clocks https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d020hcWA_Wg Clocks has that unique piano vortex which forms the foundation of the song, promoting the feeling of confusion. Good to listen to when you're in a neutral mood. 2. Fix You https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k4V3Mo61fJM The song starts off with paradoxical statements, implying the worse that could happen, but you can still be saved. A calmer song built on an organ, which eventually goes to a more powerful performance with the electric guitar. 3. The Scientist https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RB-RcX5DS5A Feeling regretful? This song implies how you can try to apologize, fix things, and go back to the start. The electric guitar is calm, and good to listen to on say, a rainy day. 4. Yellow https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yKNxeF4KMsY This 2000 classic launched Coldplay to fame, allowing Coldplay to evolve in the following years. This song shows how much you love someone, probably romantically, and makes extensive use of the color yellow to convey its message. Good to listen to on the beach with your boyfriend/girlfriend. For a meme, Hehe. This list was based on opinion. If you have a list of songs from your favorite artist you'd like to share, feel free to do so
If you're a Gleek DO NOT LISTEN TO THE SCIENTIST WHEN SAD. They sing it in the second saddest episode, The Break-Up (first being The Quarterback duh). Finchel breaks up, Klaine breaks up and BRITTANA breaks up and they all sing the song and just UGH DEPRESSING.
A Rush Of Blood To The Head is one of my most favourite songs from Coldplay ever. It's kind of hard to put a theme on it. Green Eyes is a song about love. Strawberry Swing is pretty much about breaking away from the stresses of normal life. 'Don't you wanna, just curve away?'
Lesbian* I just had an epiphany. What if Sara Jean Underwood had a clone, and made out with her. My mind may be screwed up but it's the best thx for the idea
