As arman said, I don't believe you. That is one if the most common excuses in the book and you probably don't have any proof that you were hacked or "someone" got a hold of your account. We don't know if you would do this but why would you give someone your account and how did you not expect anything bad to happen to it/on it.

Age and maturity have nothing to do with how much you trust a person and how much you really should trust them. Only personality can judge that. A mature 30 year old can betray anyone so how is that any different than your brother? Family betrays Family, Friends betray Friends, You can never really trust anyone because if they have something to gain from it they do not care what happens to you.
