That wasn't his real ip. He was using a free VPN. I knew that before I posted it because it said he lived in Japan, which I know is completely inaccurate. I was trying to get him to stop spamming for @Fruity17D sake.

Attempt to dox and actually doxing are both serious. If u think you shouldn't be punished, how bout I give you a similarity. Mods on this server does what it takes to remove ddosed hackers etc. however when someone attempts to even ddos the staff needs to punish, same goes for attempting to dox. I advise you just stop arguing considering your lucky enough to not get punished for attempting to dox
I'm not arguing that I shouldn't be punished, as I know it was wrong. I'm upset that @TcWxFusions2 is making this bigger than it needs to be. I was trying to scare wiipro into stopping the spam for the mods' sake. I told him nicely over skype to quit it- he didn't listen. So, I did it my way. And for the last time, that way nobody misses it, I understand that it was wrong.
So your trying to stop advertising and by doing that you post a thread containing the links? I know that advertising is against the rules and your doing the right thing to report it but isn't there another way of doing this rather than posting the links further around the forums? Maybe keep it private to just those who it's concerns?

Grab someone's IP from their skype or if they log onto your MC/TS server, Throw it in an ip location website, Get an approximate location, "dox" them with some scrap info thrown in like age and name and things no one cares about. It's not an effective scare tactic. Even ddos threats are more effective since you have their ip anyways.
Doxxing? Yes I guess but I am assuming by the dash across his name he is already banned from the forums, idk about the server
