mcMMO

mcMMO is my entire life, now I know that sounds stupid but it’s true. Every night when I go to bed, I literally fall asleep thinking about the mcMMO server on SquadCraft. Word has spread of mcMMO shutting down and I will not stand for it! You have people playing on mcMMO there is 0 people online, and as long as you have players, what's the harm in keeping it up? NOTHING! What's the harm in shutting it down? There's lots! You cannot shut down mcMMO for many reasons and here are a few.

Donators

Many people have donated (paid money for a rank) on mcMMO, if you refuse to transfer their rank then you legally have to refund them because if they have paid you to give them a rank on mcMMO, you are legally obligated to do so. If you do not, then you must fully refund them of all charges or transfer their rank to a different server/mini game on SquadCraft of their choice.

Players/Customers

By shutting down mcMMO you will be losing tons of players and donators. If players see that you shut down mcMMO, they will be hesitant to donate for fear that their money could be wasted. Also you will lose all of your donators from mcMMO who may be willing to continue paying you money for higher ranks. Secondly, almost everyone who plays on mcMMO either only plays on mcMMO or almost always plays on mcMMO and once in a while plays Survival Games or something. By shutting down mcMMO you will lose all of its players. I myself will not play on SquadCraft at all because mcMMO was the best thing SquadCraft ever had. Lastly, if mcMMO is no longer up, people will be forced to play on The Archon, mcMMO’s rival server! Who wants that?!?!

Moderators

The moderators on mcMMO worked very hard to receive the honour of such a valuable position. Some of them spent 4-6 months trying to become a moderator, others, even longer! If you shut down mcMMO that work will be a total waste! All of those moderators are good people and don’t deserve to have their time wasted and their position taken away!

Disappointment

Like is mentioned earlier, mcMMO is my life, I live to play it, if you shut down mcMMO, my level of disappointment on a scale of 1-100 will be 100 000 000! I have worked so hard to get to the point at which I am, I have spent months and many people have spent years, playing/working on mcMMO; shutting down mcMMO would be flushing all that work and time down the toilet.

I have decided to start a petition to show you how many people really and truly want to keep mcMMO running. Like this post, say *signs petition* or /msg me on mcMMO to have your name put on the list:

Yonda stated an answer. Get 100 players or at least more players that are constantly online. I'd love to sign the petition, as Patrick gave me full prot 4 diamond armor and I'd hate to lose that xD

Yeah..Yonda said that it will not get shut down as long as he sees a consistent 50 players on there, and 100 players on at the same point. Good to see people are actually doing something now though, instead of just giving up after one minorly failed attempt.

 

MCMMO is one of my favorite servers, and i meet people that i never knew that i will ever meet.

We'll someone like me that has played mcmmo ever since it came to this server knows that ever since like Christmas mcmmo has been dropping a lot and since like February it has been struggling to reach over 30 so I know it wont get to 100 players and keep a consistent over 50 players a day

It wont if all of it's dedicated players have that attitude. It is OK to not have faith in things, but it just means that said thing will not occur, even if a situation seems completely lost, nothing is impossible and everything could still conceivably turn out positively for everyone as long as the people involved try their best to make said result happen.

 

Not like I've been trying for ages to get people on mcmmo I even made an event on there and it done nothing so don't say anything about my attitude towards mcmmo I've done all I can to get people on there

 

I sign the petition for the simple fact that I have many good friends who gain enjoyment out of that minigame.

However having been informed of Yonda's/Surge's reasoning behind removal of the minigame, it does make sense why they would choose that option. I'm not really siding with anyone here

 

Fair enough, but now you're giving up. If you want MCMMO to live you just gotta try harder

 

What do you suggest I do that I haven't already done?

 

Maybe another fac war?

 

Honestly, I don't know, but there has gotta be something that will keep the server alive, or else Yonda and Surge would have just shut it down straight away.

 

Hardly anyone turned up to the first one and the fac we normally pvp against some of them have been banned so I doubt that's gonna help

I can't tell you how many servers I've been banned on for advertising squad mcmmo and yet still doesn't work

 

Well people advertising a server on squad makes me wanna hate on the server they are talking about :I Good intentions, but wrong way of doing it :L

So how do you suggest getting more people to play then if advertising isn't the right way?

 

Don't know really, I am drawing a blank unfortunately. My advice is to just take a couple of hours in a PM with some mcMMO friends to bounce ideas off of each other. I am sure that with a little enthusiasm and healthy debate you can think of some great ideas.

Hell yes I support this. This is the server that I've played long before it was even McMMo. This is what I've played for 3ish years now. I've played this part of the server my entire time on the server and it has been my favorite.
I'd personally say I'm one of the oldest players to still play McMMo and stay here, I've played it my entire time on this server. Of course I sign this petition.

Yonda has said that the 75 people we got on McMMO was a fair enough amount and he won't pursue shutting down McMMO. Congrats eveybody McMMO is here to stay.

 

I heard that aswell, and im going to make a montage video of all memories/wars/good things About mcmmo and put it on youtube. Hopefully alot of people sees it and want to join mcmmo
