Hello everyone who is Reading this. If you are on these forums long enough, you may know that a lot of moderator applications are being posted. 99% of these are denied by lack of detail, just joined the forums or just joined the server. These threads are cluttering the forums. Maybe add Some new requirements to posting mod apps. -Apollo11 [DISCLAIMER] did not know where to post dis, feel free to move it.
I think there are plenty of questions. For example before applying I looked at other accepted applications to just get an idea. Welp, as you can see. It helped a lot. If you truly want to get promoted to moderator I would suggest you know if your applications lacks detail or not. I would spend some time on apps. For example you can't just finish a mod app in 15 - 25minutes. If you look at the accepted apps they at least took about 7,8, hours or even day+.
Many of the mod applications, as you said, lack detail. While some people actually spend their time creating something worth reading, others just feel like they can get away with just a couple sentences. That reminds me, joke mod applications are irritating. I don't understand the point in doing, maybe to achieve fame, be funny, have more threads? You have nothing good to post, don't post it at all. Recently, people have also turned in unfinished applications. For those who plan to do this, understand that it has to be completed, NOT plagiarized, and for those that have been denied have to WAIT 2 MONTHS to reapply. Remember it's quality not quantity. Some of you may think that people who have long essays or have to continue their applications on another message are better than those with just normal paragraphs. Well you got it wrong. Most of the time, majority of those long answers just exaggerate what's actually there. This means the extra fluff is not required - useless. So don't try writing a freakin' book. As a mod, you need to be respectful, active, and someone who is looking to better Squad, not make it worse. To wrap it up, for all applicants, use the format ---> HERE <---. Don't mix up the questions or reword anything, just use what is there. Thank you.
Be kind, JamesM is a respectful player. On a more relative note, I used to think I would be a good mod, until I realized that I don't think I could meet the unspoken limit for time commitment. That's another thing people should be thinking about, making sure they truly would consider themselves a good mod.
Cause they never spammed those kinds of links. I have something called logs you know. So if your gonna start making lies I suggest you dont. Also, that's not copying. Copying is when someone checks someone's app and starts copying words off of it.

or it means that you aren't lazy and actually put decent effort into work that you want to be the best it possibly can be By the way he doesn't mean 7-8 straight hours of just the app, its time in total so that can be about an hour each day working on the application, that would take you a week
Ikr it's like who spends that much time on something just I get a couple of shitty permissions that will most likely be taken away later Me and creeper bot have a long history together and before u intercept it we don't give a poop if I call him a random thing or if he calls me a idiot it's just in our system even if he gets co owner on here which is most likely not to happen still I will continue to act the same because of our long relation it just works that way And I said "Something bad" to him because he made me really mad earlier and was believing the bs from his hippy friends...... Also I don't like staff they r just a bunch of hippies with higher power plus I only look at forums on here usually. I'm still thinking whether to quit or not.
Also, not quite me and homefry do have a long relationship but if he breaks 1 rule in game or anything that is dealt by Squadcraft then I handle it by making him Face the consequences.
If you would like to be accepted as a mod you must spend time on your app. If you deeply care about earning this position. Its like a college app. Just because the application took over a week does not mean. College is your life. Even though that's the main area where you learn major education.
Um... If u think a college application can be compared to a block game mod application you must be quite strange. College apps decide your life not your game life. College apps take more than 7 hours if you want to get in a good college. There have been mod apps from better mods than the present ones and they admitted that their mod apps took close to 30mins-2hours. Their mod apps were also better. Surge is in a difficult position because of the moderator problem and he needs to get more mods faster. He will deny all the really short ones and maybe look at the long ones. I haven't found a good mod app since all the old mods left. Just because an app is long doesn't mean it's good
