Up to you. The 1070 is a decent jump from the 1060 in terms of price and performance and replacing your cpu with any other AMD processor wouldn't help out much. What do you mean though? Sell the GPU and buy a new CPU? Or you'd just upgrade CPUs without selling it

and I'm waiting for zen but its probs gonna be quite expensive, but hopefully it'll force intel to release something quickly or drop the prices of their current cpus

I want a 6700 for that little bit of extra performance compared to the 4690 and so it doesnt reach full load as quickly as the i5 6600k

I doubt zen would force intel to do anything. AMD is budget friendly CPUs at the price of making more heat and less stability while intel is more expensive but way more stable and not as bad as AMD in terms of heat production. And Intel seems to be more stable on overclocks but thats just from my experiences with both CPUs.

i'm waiting for zen, not buying it when it comes out. wanna see the benchmarks before i buy anything
