a while ago I saw a few pictures on the Internet of these fans kids saying "#stopfallout4" saying how it's going to take fnaf4s fame I feel like I am going to throw up that they do this I am probably getting more angry then I should about something a few months ago but still.
Fallout 4 would not take FNaF 4's fame because the two games are literally polar opposites, the fans of each game are very different in terms of interest. And if it did, the creator of the game would not even care as he never intended for FNaF to be the main attraction of everything. Even today, years after the first game people STILL care about FNaF. Scott intends on releasing a FNaF Movie with the Warner Bros. and plans on making another FNaF Novel, plus he updated his ScottsGames.com with a new image that could relate to FNaF.
FNAF is just one of those games that tried to get into the spot light that creepy pasta style games like Slender had for a while. It was never a good game and most people just got into it because of its hype. "Scary" games are just that, "Scary" games with no real story but maybe a background story and an objective, They will never be as good as any real game. Fallout actually has a story and good gameplay compared to "scary" games.
Scott (creator of FNaF) never actually intended for that (the long spotlight his series received). FNaF was just one of those Indie horror games made by 1 developer, Fallout was the opposite, being professionally developed by teams of people, bigger expectations etc... The lore/story of FNaF was meant to be mysterious and ridiculed, hence the many, many theories based off of the game. Scott even had t0 respond to the community because people weren't understanding the game's lore. To people who have Automatonophobia (the fear that non-animate objects that resemble humans will come to life such as dolls, mannequins, and animatronics), FNaF is scary to them. FNaF was unique and was not stereotypical like many other horror games out there. The scariness comes to you instead of you going traveling to find it. That and the setting. I'm not trying to be a fanboy for any of these games as I like both. Just needed to state something.
The irony is that fallout is actually somewhat more scary than all the fnaf games most likely because they humanized the robot animals. Exactly all of these secrets are mainly extra scares because chuck e cheese characters jumping at you is not scary enough.
While it tries to be "unique", It is anything but that. It was released in a time where Pewdiepie and everyone else were playing those pop up scary games hence why it seems so generic. Fallout is a great game hence why the comparison isn't fair in the first place because some indie horror game can't compare to an AAA Title. The genre of these games in the first place isn't meant to build a fan base for the game, These games have literally no replay value or even a one time play value since all it does is scare you. The best thing they are for is for you and your friends to be entertained for a short while when you hangout.
The game does not even scare you it startles you any gameplay besides the jumpscares are bland and boring of course fallout 4 will be more famous
FNaF is actually very hyped up and popular for some unknown reason. Fallout is more popular because it turned out to be a good game. If any AAA title has a bad game it doesn't get any mercy just because it's AAA, Take COD: Ghosts as an example.
I don't like its game modes or its guns. The only thing I like about it is its maps. I don't use snipers so that reason that people don't like it isn't my reason
