Hello guys ik ive been accused of hacking in the past but this is all about if i should even get a chance to APPLY for mod if any of you kind souls would be willing to pass this for a chance for me to be mod i would greatly appreaciate it IGN:Gooman505 IRL Name:Kegan G. Age: 13 Timezone: PCF Pacific Central Time (PCF) Respectfulness on a scale of 1-10: Well, that depends. I always try to keep my cool, and although I can recall one or two times when I have let myself become annoyed, I don't think it has affected my rating dramatically. I respect a staff member a little more than others who are not, due to the position of power held by the former, and will follow any orders given by one quickly and efficiently, with little to no arguments. One other point I think should be added. I believe that its not just the moderator applicant who determines respectfulness, but the players around him/her also. With all this in mind, I think I will rate myself an 7/10. Like I said before, if you feel differently to what I have put, say so below please. Obedience on a scale of 1-10: Again, I think it varies. If I'm given an order by a staff member, I will question why, and when/if a reason is given, I will usually do it. However, I am the type of person that likes to know why I am doing something, so I will enquire pretty much always as to why I need to do this errand or request. The same goes for regular members, but a little more questioning. I think I would be a 9/10. Once again, if you feel differently, feel free to say so. Experience: Ive had little experience as a mod but if i wanted to become a mod, squad if the place that i would start Any past offences: I was jailed for awhile until ********** blew it up and i guess i was freed but since then ive kept a low profile and helped other members play and have fun! Reasons you (I) should be a moderator: I'm going to list my reasons up here, then explain them in order. 1)Reduce rule breakers such as Spammers,Hackers, ddosers, etc. 2) Assist new players and explain the rules and give them a good head start 3) Be someone to go to and get help from with any of their needs. 4) Wanting to help the server, in anyway I possible can. 1) Reduce rule breakers on Factions, and be a moderator when no one else is online: Whenever I get home from school, I immediately jump on to my PC, check the forums and settle down to play some Factions. What I notice during that time is that there are no moderators on for at least an hour (Kalanisboss usually gets on after a time), and one time when I had a day off, I checked and before the time Kalan got on, there was no mods for at least 3 hours. I believe it would be beneficial to have someone be on during that gap, so to catch rule breakers who may be on at that time and help others. Which brings me to my next point, hackers, spammers and rule breakers in general. A higher percentage of them frequent the server now, and constantly in chat there are complaints of 'Nice hax/cks mate' or 'Hacker! Such and such hacks!' If a moderator was on during this time, they could investigate these claims, and silence the spammers that inevitably pop up. I also have studied Joshy's punishment chart that he made up, have the lay down of it pretty well remembered, so I can state that I was doing the right thing and have the proof to back me up. 2) Assist new players and explain the rules While this may not be as frequent, I still do see people in chat ask how to make a Faction, what they are supposed to do, how to make money, etc. While I try to explain this to the best of my ability anyway, I know that staff get through easier, and that more people listen to them than they would a donator. Assisting and making new players feel welcome is a possible way to attract more people to the server, because if that member who has recently joined enjoys the server, he may bring his friends in, and if they enjoy it, they could bring their friends in, and so on and so on. 3) Be someone to go to for help, and get help from While the above reason may state this already, I want to be someone that everyone- member to bedrock - can go to for help, and hopefully get help from. I am used to being spammed with msgs, and it has helped me learn to respond quickly and efficiently, which to me equals professionalism, since in the real world, there are deadlines to everything. I would help with most things, like raiding a vault, helping to build one, assisting with commands, going to PvP to watch a battle, and more. Its these types of things that I think a moderator should do, and maintain a calm, and helpful attitude at all times. 4) Wanting to help the server, in any way I can More than anything else, I want to help the server. Help it get back to where it was before and beyond. Help Yonda reach his dream of 1000+ players by 2015. If I were to get the moderator position, I would do anything and everything to help this server get up from its knees and back on its feet. I can't say how I can do it, or if I can, but I would do everything I could to try. Advertising the server, getting people to join, even giving out free rank giveaways (Yonda, I know you will have words for me about that, but I have fixed the situation, I think.) Anything that would help the server, I would be willing to do, even if I had to learn on the spot or do something I hate doing. I love this server and want to give something back after all its given me. This concludes my reasons. (not plagiarism) Any extra things you want to add:not really but please accept me. ~Gooman
