The carbon cycle states that carbon will be recycled in some way. Right now, with organisms that use cellular respiration, carbon is cycled through exhaling, death, emissions, and burning things. Even if cellular respiration organisms were killed off, carbon would still be cycled via death of some plants, volcanic eruptions, and fire. Basically, more food for the plants.
