Looking back I believe it's been around 12 - 18 months Where do you spend your time on Squadcraft? I am always on the Sky Wars server playing games but still monitoring chat Why do you want to be a moderator on Squadcraft? What is your goal as a Squadcraft Moderator? I want to be a Moderator on Squadcraft for multiple reasons. Firstly I enjoy being looked up to as an authority figure to the new members and making sure they know exactly what they are doing and don't get confused. Another is when certain players see there is no staff online they find it the best chance for them to enable hacked clients in order to win games and ruin everybody's games. I always see members of the Squadcraft community complaining about hackers and how there is never any staff online. I want to agree with the members here because I have seen one Moderator on the server in the past 2 -3 weeks now. I have also experienced players hacking first hand and I know it is really irritating watching as their name is constantly popping up in chat they they won games when you know they are cheating their way to that. It also irritates players when they see spamming in chat 'Another hacker just killed me and nothing will be done'. Lastly, the amount of spam that goes on and the amount of arguments in the global chat is ridiculous. I have asked for people to take those silly little arguments to /msg but I am always ignored so I feel if I am seen as an authority firgure it will definitely make people listen As a Squadcraft Moderator my goal will be to simply reduce or even remove all hackers from the server and all spammers or just those silly little arguments that go on for up to hours about who is a better PvPer or how they are too scared to PvP and attacked them from behind. As a Moderator, how will you effect Squadcraft? I know I would definitely effect Squadcraft in a very positive way. I know I can remove large amounts of spam in the chat and all the hackers that feel like they are able to hack without being caught. While I may not be a huge effect on the entire Squadcraft community I will be a massive effect on the Sky Wars part of the community of around 100 - 200 players. Do you want Moderator just to have 'Mod' in your name? To tell the truth this is actually part of a reason for the application but read on before you assume anything. If I had the 'Mod' tag in front of my name players will instantly see I am a Moderator and I am somebody to be listened to and not ignored. It also helps newer players identify who they can speak to for help. What happens if you are not chosen to be a Moderator? If I am not chosen for Mod, nothing would change for me, I will continue to attempt to stop players from hacking by recording them and I will always attempt to solve or just stop arguments or spam from the global chat What kind of skills do you have? I have multiple skills I believe will help me when it comes to being a Moderator. My typing speed is above average and my knowledge of hacks is great, just something as simple as a player 'rubber banding' you are able to determine if they are a hacker or simply lagging ( But I will need the command '/ping' ). I also have a skill of understanding what punishments to give to players which come in handy, nobody likes the Moderators who will do something stupid like ban somebody for saying something like 'F*ggot' in chat. ( I apologize for the language ) Have you ever been banned? If so, why? N/A Have you ever cheated or used hacks of any kind? If so, why? N/A How do you treat younger players? When it comes to younger players there is a large difference in the way you treat the players. You always treat any players with respect but sometimes you can't be as forward with younger players as you can the older ones. An example of this would be if I seen two people having an argument and could tell by the language one of them was younger and one was older I would first start of by asking both of them in chat to stop the argument please, then I would message the younger player and say something a bit friendly like 'Hey dude mind not spamming please? Thanks ' but with the older player I would message them saying 'Please don't spam.' and just be forward with them. Do you use TeamSpeak or Skype? I am able to use both, I mainly use TeamSpeak to protect my IP more but I am able to use Skype List the things you have done to help the Squadcraft community / server: Stopping spam or arguments in chat Reported multiple hackers in the past Guided newer players around the server Gave small tutorials on Sky Wars How many applications have you submitted before? I like to help people, I am mature and I am well aware of the rules. I would consider myself to be a friendly and approachable person and always calm and level headed when it comes to stressful situations. I'm sure everybody says this but I can joke about but I know the right time to put my foot down and get serious. Do you have any past experience in any staff member of any organisation? ( Doesn't have to be Minecraft ) I have had pleanty of past experience as a Moderator, Admin, Helper, Head-Moderator and Head-Helper. I was a Admin on a server called MT-Gaming ( This is on GTA SAMP ) and I have been a few other ranks which are listed above on multiple Minecraft servers. I have retired from all staff positions to dedicate my spare time to Squadcraft Tell us about yourself, about you, your character, personality and values. I am a very fun guy who always enjoys a good joke. I love talking to people and I feel like I have the ability to please everybody without annoying, irritating or hurting others feelings. I do use TeamSpeak 3 a lot and I love the fact I can talk to people from all across the world and I enjoy doing that as well. I am a 14 year old boy ( soon to be 15 ) and I just enjoy everything I do. When I do something, I do it to the best of my ability and don't leave things unfinished. Some great values about me are that I am able to talk to anybody of any age or culture as long as they speak English and I have very little trouble understanding other peoples accents that may be unclear to others. Your a moderator? Under your name it should say "Mod" and "Staff Member" I didn't know that on the staff members list, "Tarik_" meant you! LMAO I had no clue. I am sorry! There is no tags.... so I didn't know.
He is working on server with problems like KitPvP and is busy with other things. A moderator should look at a mod app and if they like it they forward it to surge.

It's not that you're not allowed, it's that it makes you appear desperate for mod. That's one of the main reasons I got denied a couple months ago. I'll delete to ad you put in shoutbox if you want. The APP could have more detail and from what I some times see in game, you argue with players and rage. -1 support But GL anyways
I feel like you have gave me -1 not for the application in any way at all but because I asked your friend to stop acting so immature and stop arguing with me. I will not argue with you about this but I know you have a personal dislike for me because of something that happened with your friend. I don't respect the way you stood up for your friend after he was constantly spamming and attempting to start an argument with me but if you think back all the players on the server that day were telling your friend to listen to me and stop acting childish. I would respect you if you would tell the truth and put this personal issue behind us, I have and if I seen you post a decent application for Moderator, I would ignore who you are and give you a +1. You are perfectly capable of becoming a MOD but I was just putting the extra information on the table. But what you said about it being unfair it not true because the APP could have more detail. That is nothing to do with an argument ig. Maybe I was harsh to give a -1 but I just don't think you are good enough. But that is my opinion
I have a little bit of an issue, I am unable to post anything over 1000 words so for anybody who says I didn't put detail or effort into it I believe they are wrong. I also wanted to add a but more to 'Why do you want to be a moderator on Squadcraft? What is your goal as a Squadcraft Moderator?' but like I said I cannot post more than 1000 words so I'd like to continue it below: Why do you want to be a moderator on Squadcraft? What is your goal as a Squadcraft Moderator? I can bring a lot of things to the team, and I know for a fact one of them will be dedication. I really think that if given the chance I would be able to excel in the team with the given dedication I know I'll put in as a moderator / administrator, if I put my mind up to it. Being part of the team I know requires your time, and loyalty to the server and that's something I have been for a while now. Maturity is something that I have always had, I know that there are times when to take things serious, and I know there are those times you're free to joke around in, I know the difference in these situations. I know sometimes that handling reports, or dealing with stressful situations can ware someone down, I know I can cope with the things that can get thrown at me, while still keeping strong because I know it won't be an easy task sometimes. And responsibility, I am a man of my word, responsibility is one thing I have stuck up with since day one.

Hey Immortal I am Ghost and I'm going to talk about the main things that stand out to me in this application. If I say nothing you can assume that is because there is nothing wrong with that paragraph. Firstly I want to say that layout is amazing. I love how it is so easy to see everything clearly and you have clearly put a lot of detail into this because I see you have reached a 1000 word limit and had to continue in the comments. Now, when you said when you are usually online I am happy you have understood the question and put times but being more specific would have been nice to see. I seen an application and they gave specific times of each day of the week and it would be nice to see that instead of generalization. I'll talk about the paragraphs that matter now. First is 'Why do you want to be a moderator on Squadcraft? What is your goal as a Squadcraft Moderator?'. After reading it I would like to say you have gave the best and most detailed answer on this question that I have seen today and I have looked through about 15 applications and I will only comment on the ones I see need the advice. You clearly need no advice when it comes to applications. You have gave a good few points on this question and none of them points went on long enough to bore me but you could have shortened your point about hackers and spammers a little and still would have gave a very good answer. You have split up the goals and the reason you want to be a Moderator into two paragraphs which makes things easier to read and things are more understandable. You gave a simple goal which is what everybody is putting but you gave a tiny but more detail in your answer than something like 'Stop spammers' and the added effort really helps. As a Moderator, how will you effect Squadcraft? You have understood that you are not able to make a difference on the entire of Squadcraft but only the Sky Wars part which is always good your not thinking you are what the server needs to become the best server on Minecraft. You have a simple goal which is included in this section and that is to remove hackers and spammers and just a simple goal like this is great to have but it is basic Moderator duties to ban hackers. How do you treat younger players? This is something that has two options for a good answer but one answer is not liked as much as the other. You have chose the liked option which is treating younger players slightly differently. I have been high ranks on many servers and I have seen plenty of children being spoken to like a teenager would be spoken to and they don't take it so well. Children tend to overreact over small and silly things such as asking them not to spam so knowing that you have to be friendly is a great advantage over other applicants. If you are not friendly with them they will overreact and that causes troubles such as spamming, swearing and even quitting the server completely which you probably understand. Is there anything else you would like to say? It's nice you gave a good strong and long answer. Some people would be short with this but you have gave a good amount of detail. Since there is no section names something like 'What makes you stand out against other applicants' you have managed to add this in slightly which is always good to convince the staff member in charge of bringing on new Moderators that you are the right person. Finally I want to say a little about the 'Tell us about yourself, about you, your character, personality and values.' section. You have gave me a clear picture of what type of person you are. If I met you I would feel like I could talk to you without any issues and you have probably gave more detail in this application than anybody else I have read so far. I was joking XD, too many people kept on saying they will record me hacking so I said I hacked as a joke. Even when i'm recording for my YT channel I get called a hacker. Today I was actually planning on denying my application anyway. There is a reason for this so you will find it on the forums somewhere. DENIED -Ghost
