Why do you play Minecraft?
I enjoy the creations that have been involved with the game as well as the communities that have grown due to online servers. I also play Minecraft because it is one of the few games where you can do literally anything you want to, and having the freedom to make anything in my mind become a reality intrigues me. However the reason I play the most is because Minecraft is a place where you can meet amazing people that become friends beyond just a video game or a screen.

When are you usually online?
On weekdays I can usually get on after 3:00 PM PST. I probably won’t be on after 12:00 AM PST if I have decided to sleep. On the weekends I can be on at any point in the day so long as I haven’t made plans to go out at a certain time. I don’t have a job at the moment as I’ve been focused on school and self-improvement, so I have a lot more time to be online.


How many hours a day can you play? How many hours do you actually play?
I can probably play between 3-5 hours depending on my schedule. However I’ll probably only play at most 3 hours at a time. Weekends I can play for much longer since I am not at school.


How long have you been playing SquadCraft?
I have been around Squadcraft for nearly 3-4 years. I was introduced to the server when it only had factions and was labeled as Noahcraft. (So longer than most everybody.)


What's your favorite memory on SquadCraft?
I have been playing on Squad for such a long time that I have countless good memories while playing here. However the one that stands out the most is when the server was only a kitpvp server, and there would be really big battles between Players and others. This memory stands out in particular simply because the concepts of ddosing and major hacking really hadn’t hit Minecraft yet, so everybody was playing to have fun and it’s just more exciting that way.


Where do you spend your time at SquadCraft?
Lately I spend most of my time on kitpvp, however I like to check-in on the other servers like factions, skyblock, and creative for 10-20 mins each if I am not doing anything on kitpvp. I do this because occasionally something there catches my interest, causing me to spend several hours on those servers instead.


Why do you want to be a moderator? What is your goal as a SquadCraft moderator?
Since I have been playing Minecraft I have always been moderating for servers that I play on, so the feeling just comes natural to me. I get a distaste in my mouth when I am seeing people hacking or verbally abusing each other and I can’t do anything to help put a stop to it. If I were to become a moderator on SquadCraft I would put my efforts on making the community a friendlier place that is preferably hacking free.


As a moderator, how will you affect SquadCraft?
I’d do my best to make sure people are having a good time while on the server by answering questions or making sure people aren’t abusing each other through the chat. The most enjoyable thing about Minecraft in my opinion is having a good community because it brings more life out of the server and makes the game more fun to play. I will also do my best when it comes to helping people with questions or issues they may have pertaining to the server. When someone is breaking the rules I will also put a stop to it through to the best of my ability as a mod. Nearly most importantly, I won’t be abusing my powers as a mod.


Do you want Mod just to have Mod next to your name?
Doing things for privileges just isn’t who I am so that is a definite no. I want to be a mod simply because I want to make SquadCraft a better place for its players. I also want to help grow the community of the server so I can continue to meet new great people through Squad.


What happens if you are not chosen to be a moderator?
I’ll probably continue to play on SquadCraft and hanging around with the friends I’ve made on the server. I am not a mod now so I don’t see what would change.


What kind of skills do you have?
If you are talking about Minecraft, then I’d say that I am somewhat good at pvping. I am also good at spotting hackers and such. A special quality that I would say I have is the ability to talk to most anybody while getting along with them. I have a lot of experience with people so I can usually read people well. If I end up going to college I will probably major in psychology simply because the human brain is the most interesting thing to me. I love learning about how people behave and act based on signals in the brain.


Have you ever been banned? If so, why?
I was banned from Squad when Yonda left to make his own server. According to surge however, Yonda banned all of the mods upon leaving at that time and surge unbanned them later.


Have you ever cheated, used hacks? If so, why?
I have only ever used X-Ray as for hacks. The purpose for using the X-ray was while I was moderating for TheHutt server. I would go in vanish and occasionally teleport to random players that were getting large amounts of diamond fairly frequently. With X-Ray I was able to see if they were just being lucky or mining straight to more diamonds/ores. Aside from that I have never cheated in anything except Skyrim.(SinglePlayer) And if you have that game for the PC then you probably have too. J


How do you treat younger players?
I treat younger players the way I treat older players simply because everyone should have equal treatment, I answer questions and assist in other matters they might need as much as I would for anybody. I am rarely ever using profane language so the way I treat them or anybody else wouldn’t be inappropriate.


Do you use TeamSpeak or skype?
I have and use skype daily.


List the things you've done to help the SquadCraft community and the SquadCraft server.
I was formerly a mod for the server for nearly 2 years. I’ve done my best to make the community nicer as a whole and have been doing my best to improve the community since I joined. I assisted in the building of several maps/spawns for the servers. While I was headmod I did my best to make sure mods weren’t being abusive with their powers. I would also like to say that I did my best to help Flashy be a better person when it comes to not ddosing people on the server. If you know who that is then you get what I mean.


How many applications have you submitted before? When was the last one?
I have never applied to be a moderator. Last time I was mod I was just selected. This was before the forums came out so there wasn’t a way to apply. (That I know of)


Is there anything else you would like to say?
I’ve said mostly everything. I want the server’s community grow and I believe that placing me as a mod will help me to do that.


Do you have any experience as a staff member of any organization? (doesn't have to be Minecraft)
I have moderate for several twitch streamers such as BYD and PeteZahHutt. I also was a moderator for TheHutt.MC before I came to Squadcraft. I had moderated there for nearly 6 months before he closed the server and focused more on his streaming. (Which I continued to moderate his twitch chat) Eventually I became a moderator for Squadcraft and even further “HeadMod” on Squad. Being HeadMod however wasn’t really much different than the duties of a normal mod aside from the task of preventing disagreements between staff-members to be in the public chat and helping to solve disputes when I could.


Tell us about yourself, about you, your character, personality and values.

The most satisfying and most enjoyable thing that I could ever do is put a smile on somebody else’s face. I am the kind of person that will do my best to protect the things I care about. I try to make sure I have a good face in front of everybody and value greatly my ability to keep a level head when I need to. I have been moderating for years now so I don’t get affected by trolls or toxic players. I am a bit of a personal perfectionist, meaning that I don’t like excepting anything but my best. I am friendly to nearly anybody I meet but can be stern when I need to be. My biggest flaws however are the fact that I can be a bit overly self-hating and can sometimes see people as better than they really are. If you are asking about the things I do on a daily basis then a short description would be that I am almost constantly hanging about with friends. If I am not doing that I am probably at school or at home playing games and talking to friends on the computer. s
