My Farewell, and Parting Words.

Hello all,
I have reached a point in my life that I no longer find Minecraft a beneficial activity
I am nearly 16, and I have spend close to 3 years in the past playing Minecraft. I should have realized that Minecraft is sucking away at my life, and not beneficial to my life in any way. I encourage you all to look at your life, see how much time you are spending behind a computer screen. Is that and school what sums up your life? If so, I strongly advise you to back off for a while and re-evaluate. Why? Because there is much more to your life than that. There are people you need to meet, friends that will change your life, adults that will influence your future, and eventually a husband or wife. You will not find these people playing video games, of course you will make friends on Minecraft, it is mainly a multiplayer game. But you need in real life relationships and experiences, those are what truly make you who you are. I am able to reach this decision because I recently got my phone taken away (for reasons I will not list xp), I have had a reality check, Minecraft is not getting me anywhere in life, I am not making money, I am not making real life friends as often as I should, and I am not spending enough time with the people who matter most in my life, family, my girlfriend, and my friends. Those reasons alone should make you take a look at your life. I am a very industrialist person, I like to come up with ways to make money, brainstorming is my thing. I want to life a way above average life, fancy cars, a nice home, be able to provide for my eventual family completely, and most of all not be in debt. I am not accomplishing any of that by sitting in my office playing Minecraft. My dreams may seem like a long shot to you, but I am here right now telling you that you will not live a life of ease spending as much time playing Minecraft/video games as some of you do, LIFE WILL NOT BE HANDED TO YOU ON A SILVER PLATTER. I have my dreams, and I intend to achieve my dreams. In the words of Eminem, "Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted, one moment, would you capture it or just let it slip?", I saw my shot, and I am taking it. I am making this post for you all, you can all be so much more. Surge has a great job, I am sure a lot of you would love to own a popular Minecraft server that pours in donations. But Squadcraft was not just handed to him, I am positive he had to work for this, and even now he is not just sitting in a chair watching his bank account add up, he works for what he wants, and I am sure owning Squad Craft is an amazing job. Minecraft can be a very, very great way to make money, but I do not see many of you doing anything to work for it. There are three types of people in this world from my opinion, the industrialists, the "average Joes", and the suckers. The industrialists design everything, whatever it is that brings in your money, they make it. The "average Joes" live a normal life, go through school, get a job, and get through their life with not many complications. Then we have the suckers, the suckers are what industrialists love, they spend their time with frivolous activities and waste their money on things they are lead to believe they need. Do not be the sucker, take a good look into your life and have your own dreams, and achieve them, BY WORKING HARD. I can not stress enough that life will not be anything more than average if you do not work. Because I have had these convictions, I am completely quitting Minecraft. Minecraft is a very fun game, I love to play it and I love the people here on Squad, I really do hate to go. But I realized there is more to my life, I have the potential to be more than the "average Joe", and so do all of you. I am starting to achieve my goals by creating certain things to help me financially, then when I have a comfortable financial pillow I can really start working. Who knows, maybe you will see me on Minecraft again, as owner of a server, or a paid worker to set up servers and build for people whose dream is owning a Minecraft server. But for the moment I do not have the time to do either of these. You may laugh at me all you want for thinking I can live a life owning Minecraft servers and using my Minecraft skills for financial purposes, but at least I am working for my goals, and that is how you make your dreams come true, by working. Never again will I be an average person, I am dedicating my life to strive to be the best at what I do. Again, I encourage you all to do the same. I would love to stay in contact with any of you I have developed some sort of relationship with, please pm me and we can swap our social media usernames haha. But then again I will probably not be spending as much time as I have on social media... So good luck to all of you and your lives, fare well.

I would completely understand if you do not like the content of my farewell letter, please do not hesitate to edit it to your liking. i also disagree with what u say about mine craft not helping/beneficial but to me mine craft is very beneficial because of how stressful my workload is, it gives me time to relax but the rest of what you say i agree with

Well, it's sad to see you go Fick but I completely understand. You really don't get anywhere just playing MC. However, I still play it to entertain myself and relax! Thank you for setting us an advice to our lives! GL in life, you were a great member to this community and you will never be forgetted!
