For some reason my pv 1 reset I'm only a lapis rank but I had some really really good stuff in there (creeper eggs, unbreak, and gapples.) if you could help me that would be greatly appreciated.
I see, Alright, Not too sure, but from my understanding your player data got reset when Factions Rebooted and went back Online. This issue has happened to many other players, except the problem was not with there PlayerVaults, it was with there enderchests. @surgetheurge @EA_Sharks I will also personally send it to surge to make sure he received this and I hope he gets this resolved. Hmm.. from my suspense I Surge made it so if your lucky you get Vote keys, but this problem is happening to other players as well. Not sure what to say @EA_Sharks do you have a better idea on this?
PlayerVaults are set to the user's in-game-name and not their UUID history. This means that when a server crashes and then reboots whilst that player is online, their UUID history will be deleted, therefore, making their PlayerVaults and EnderChests reset. This can also happen when people change their names. Plugins like EssentialsEco are set to the user's inbuilt Java UUID code, this means if the server ever does the same thing, you will keep your balance and anything to do with the Essentials or Factions plugin. I believe your observation on CrateKeys is correct. He changed it in the voting system.
Well, I'm not sure about my pv I didn't change my name or anything. But when and if surge sees this hopefully I'll get my player vault back. :3
*Sigh* Yes, the PlayerVault got automatically reset as they're set to the user's IGN and not their UUID history. Hence the fact when you change your name, they reset as well. When the server rebooted, it wiped the players ID, therefore, wiping his PlayerVaults. However, plugins like Essentials don't reset your balance as they are coded to check up on the UUID history every time there is a reload and the such.

First up, I'm not being rude - I'm stating the server rules. In fact your the one in the wrong here begging for a rank. You should donate like every other person on here. You should get no special treatment and should have to do everything the same. So stop begging for a rank and pay for it yourself.
