Hi, and thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this moderator app. I have been wanting to apply for a very long time (ever since hackers started to invade pvp), but past events have stopped me(mostly school projects) and only now have I decided to go forward with it. I have asked a few people for their opinions on making this, and they wouldn't help me or give me thoughts on it. IGN: nv_Virus IRL Name: Harutun M. Age: 16 Timezone: PST(Pacific Standard Time) UTC/GMT -8 hours Respectfulness on a scale of 1-10: Well, that depends. I always try to keep my cool, and although I can recall sometimes when I am just loosing my cool I completely blow all my anger out on the hackers, when I die by then usually. But to mods I have a different view of them because one they have a higher positions than the rest of us and they tend to help out a lot. But I honestly have no tolerance for hackers as do most mods on this server. So I think a 8/10 to players with out hacks and 6/10 to hackers Obedience on a scale of 1-10: Again, I think it varies. If I'm given an order by a staff member, I will do it no matter how silly or serious it is because they are doing it for something good(I hope). But if a player tells me to do something I will more than likely question them until I know why they want me to do what ever it is. I am probably going to give myself a 9/10 for obeying moderators and a 7.5/10 for obeying the other players in squadcraft Eqxperience: I am sorry to say that I have only had experience on a couple servers, that had less than 25-30 people on them. Nothing major like other moderators. Some of the servers were not 'official' servers and some were and have been shut down. On most these servers I was either Moderator or Jr. Mod. I cannot show proof of this, due to the fact that I never thought I would need it plus the servers got shut down. The benefit of this would be the fact that I know my way around commands like /kick, /jail and /mute, all of which are used alot on those who spam or advertise in chat. Another example is /god, which is used to observe PvP fights to check for hacking. Although I may not have enough experience as most moderators, I believe that they are qualitative enough for me to handle the size of SquadCraft and use these commands correctly at the right time. Any past offences: I was muted for spamming to Lexi and Patrick to jail a hacker(long time ago). I was also banned recently about two-three months ago for a mouse that was preprogrammed by a seller on eBay to click three times and I honestly didn't know until I contacted the seller and he told me how to disable that button. But then I bought a naga and threw away the mouse I bought from eBay. Reasons you (I) should be a moderator: I'm going to list my reasons up here, then explain them in order. 1) Reduce rule breakers and hackers on Factions, and be there to moderate when no one else is usually on. 2) Assisting new players and explain the rules. 3) Be someone to inform or educate people and get help from. 4) help the server, in anyway I possibly can. 1) Reduce rule breakers and hackers on Factions, and being a moderator when no one else is online. Whenever I get home from school, I immediately jump on to my PC, and go to Squadcraft and settle down to play some Factions. What I notice during that time is that there are no moderators on for at least an hour or two (Kalanisboss or Pat or Lexi usually gets on after a while), and one time when I had a day off, I checked and before the time Kalan got on, there was no mods for at least 5 hours. I believe it would be crucial to have someone be on during that time gap, to catch rule breakers and hackers who may be on at that time and help others. Which brings me to my point . Hackers. I hate them. They just tick me off, and before I started to write this I encountered three hackers in pvp and they were literally was pushing my buttons. Honestly why do you have to hack in a game to be good. Whenever I am on there is usually 1-3 mods on. And I go to pvp a lot and when I do there is all ways a person hacking and when ever I tell a mod to to the person just toggles his/her hacks. 2) Assist new players and explain the rules While this is not as frequent as it was before the reset, I still do see people in chat ask how to make a Faction, what they are supposed to do, how to make money, and get armor easily . While I try to explain this to the best of my understanding, I know that staff get through easier, and that more people listen to them than they would a donator. Assisting and making new players feel welcome is a possible way to attract more people to the server, because if that member who has recently joined enjoys the server, he may bring his friends onto the server and his friends will bring their friends and populate the server. 3) Be someone to go to for help, and get help from While the above reason may state this already, I want to be someone that everyone- member to bedrock - can go to for help, and hopefully get help from. I am used to being spammed with msgs, and it has helped me learn to respond as fast as I can without being over flooded by the same person or multiple people at once. I am very helpful and loyal to those that are respecting me and not trash talking. I usually go and help anyone on the server unless they are trying to foot trap me(which has happened a lot to me). 4) Wanting to help the server, in any way I can More than anything else, I want to help the server. Help it get back to where it was before Noah left. Honestly I know Squadcraft is more enjoyable to play because of the custom plugins made by Surge. And most of the people can agree with this because it feels entertaining to play the server and you get a kick out of it when you play with friends.I would also like to start helping this server expand a lot more and support it as much as I can.I love this server and want to give something in return for all it has gave to me. This concludes my reasons. Any extra things you want to add: Nothing in particular, but just thanks for reading my mod app. (If you read it) ~ nV
