I think, subconsciously, I had reservations with you because my mom's ex bf's name was Mark. I'm pretty sure they were common law married so he was technically my step-father. I loved him very much but he abused my mom, lied compulsively and cheated on her. I also was very close with his kids. Hearing the name just makes me incredibly angry and sad which is maybe why part of me wants nothing to do with you. Although, like I said, this is subconscious, I'm only considering this aloud now. Anyways, I'm not Head-Mod ;P
