Person info leaker

Someone called BenunzeeYT was leaking person info about me and saying he hacked my computer

 

Firstly, when somebody leaks personal info about another person that is called DOXing and I believe it is illegal but you need proof of this. I would assume anybody that DOXes another player would be perm banned from the server.

Before you start to panic, he hasn't hacked your computer. DOXing is something that can be done very easily through your minecraft name, twitter name, youtube name and any other things like that. There are programs that you can get and it will search through a large database to find any links between your username and your real life name.

Like I said you will need proof of the person doing this before any action can be taken. Your word means nothing. If you see anybody say something like your real life name in chat take a screenshot ( F2 ) immediately and send that screenshot to a staff member ( So nobody else sees your name ).

That's all I can really say about this because you don't have any proof, sorry.
