hey guys, I'm planning on making my own server and was thinking that maybe a few people on here could give me some tips! Please give any suggestions for plugins, games, staff etc...If this is considered advertising then go ahead and lock the thread Also, I was planning on making a CraftBukkit one. For ur server I have 5 fun games to recomend: 1. SKYWARS, of course 2. KITPVP 3. BRIDGES 4. SURVIVAL GAMES (the kind wih all the chests and stuff) 5. MINIGAMES, think like on Mineplex (Not meaning to advertise), games like Spleef, Build my Thing, Parkour... These games may be hrd to make, so u can choose which ideas u like and dont like. These are all just suggestions. Gl with the server!
Uh, you realise you need A hosting not a pc hosted Server, it will be too lagy Unless you alocate like 32 gigs of ram to it ;c

First things first to running a good server If u want a big server go for bungee cord and have multiple servers which will cost a lot of money Or just stick with a one server to have a decent server Also set up vote links for your server after thirty minutes of setting my vote links up I got ten more people Don't advertise your server no one will want to visit it Don't op people and if someone says they are from planet Minecraft check there name on the website If u are using MCprohosting do not reset the server because they will charge you money for Essentials and the other super important one. Pay for the whole year because if u forget to pay your server will shut down When someone says there a dev say "post some on the bukkit page and send them to me on my email." Never give anyone console even your closet friends they can get mad at u and take it to far. Plugins that you'll need: ColouredMOTD WorldEdit WorldGuard Have LootCrates to make it fun Votifer GroupManager SexyMOTD If u are using spigot use AnimatedMOTD it'll make it like squadcraft does. SignShop Also you should have people make a 8 page staff app on a book and whil and say no if they are new. These are what I use on my server and what I have done
