Should the server change due to Mojang's TOS?

Well it says that they will not update to name changing until most server support it, though the servers data will have to restart meaning, reset everything all over again = 100 players leaving

 

Yeah, I was just wondering that it seems what the server is doing (or could potentially be doing with an updated TOS) is illegal?

Squadcraft does have pay2win kits but u dont have to look at it like that

Essentially, Mojang does not want people paying real money for in-game-Mojang owned-items. This and many other servers are therefore ill complying to their future TOS.

 

But what will happen to the server

 

I would happily have this rule apply.

 

Na, each player has a code of numbers which = their account. This string of numbers has your donations on it through pex. You won't lose it

 

Oh I thought @MCSmelter meant why wouldnt surge update the servers to the newest version, like wouldn't the world have to restart? Well anyways I am not good with codes and stuff...

 

Though on the old server we had my friend adrian did the console and codes, thats why I am not good at codes he never really taught me, though it was just basic stuff. I moderated, one other handled the donations, and the last just also modded when I wasn't on, though its been shut down...

 

Everyone has a unique UUID as of 1.8 and people can change their name probably as of 1.9.

 

It says until everyone starts using the new client that they would update to name changing

 

Mojang said they would allow people to start using names after a couple more release updates, as they wanted everyone to be using the same release.<-wait wut, the @%#* are we arguing about?
