So, for Christmas, my parents brought a new computer which runs on Windows 10, and I have absolutely no clue on how to use it as I've never had a PC. So anyways, I recently downloaded Google Chrome since it's the browser that I prefer. And whenever I try to open it up, it literally takes up to 5 minutes to open. However, when it finally opens, it has no problem loading up stuff that I search. So does anyone have any ideas on what's going on and how I can fix it? Also, I'm not sure if this has to do with anything, but something called "McAffee LiveSafe" has recently appeared on my computer whenever I open Google Chrome.
I honestly think its just a slow computer. A new computer doesn't necessarily mean a good computer. Do you know how much it costed?
i feel you as a fellow windows 10. When you load your computer, i advise you to wait for a couple minutes. Try to reduce the amount of things to download on your computer beacuse it will slow the heck out of the computer. if you hold ctrl -->alt--> delete, it will give u some options. Press task manager and you wont see much things. Press the thing called more details and it'll show you the whole process in your computer. If you have 60 processes or below, you're good. if it's above 70, you're screwed. Right now, im screwed. If you can't download optifine, go to this link. it's 100% safe cuz I tried it out and it's perfectly fine.
