First, It seems that people are very disappointed when there application was denied without reason. Well this is because there are a lot of applications to read and they do not have time to comment on every application (2k in around a month!) They might have denied it because you wanted to be staff on, Factions, Mcmmo, Skywars or skyblock. This is because they are currently not looking for staff members on those servers. Also the you are given OP when you are staff on the hunger games server. That means that they need to have FULL trust in you. Second, You must have lots and lots and lots of details in your application. Detail is great when you are writing your application. Adding details like ,when you were moderator on a server, how long, who owned it, ETC. The more detail you put, the more likely you are going to get moderator. Third, you must ALWAYS use correct format!! http://squadcraft.net/threads/moderator-request-outline-locked-declined-do-not-make-another.223/ Also it is good to read what yum and dibley put in their "tips and help for writing applications" http://squadcraft.net/threads/tips-rules-and-faq-on-making-a-moderator-request.417/ and http://squadcraft.net/threads/to-all-people-making-a-moderator-request.731/ Forth, Spaz you application up a bit by adding, Bold, Italics, Color, ETC. Even not so good applications can look great and be accepted by making the application look neat and organized, easy to read, easy on the eyes, ETC. I hope that I helped you while you wrote your application. Good Luck!
Uh this is a good effort but as mods it IS our job to comment on every application. It is your right, from my eyes, to be provided with justification as to why it has been denied. Also just saying that first part kinda sounded like mine :3
I couldn't really be arsed to make a mod application so I'm happy that I got mod before the forums opened.
Some mods have been denying applications without posting why they denied it what really sucks because the player who applied won't know what to improve next time. :/
I personally wouldn't advise it. I've been asked to add some normal player's threads like these to my one, but giving them credit. I will be honest though. I feel like some of them do it to get Mods to like them. Alot of the content is just repeated
I agree, most of the content is repeated and I find it quite annoying how some people get praise by practically copying another person's 'how to do a moderator application' thread.
i don't really want to be mod anyway but this is like a mix of yum and dibs tips for skywars applications
Bro stop putting stuff that is not constructive on my thread. If you are just going to say things that have no absolute reason, then don't comment at all. this was just how I thought it was good to make an application. All of the staff members threads that help people make application were very long. This was just to help people make a good application in a simple thread.
I don't mind you commenting, but I would not want you commenting unnecessary messages. I am just trying to gain the trust of squadcraft and help the server become better.
