My mom had chiari malformation 1 in the past month she's had 2 surgeries the first of in which her skull was shaped to fit her brain tonsils she now has extreme migraines Currently at the time this thread is being put up she's being rushed to the emergency room she ran out of her room crying asked for a ice pack I got her one and saw her collapsed on the bathroom floor I gave her the pack and told the closest parent she was puking and couldn't turn her head or get up My step dad her husband helped by flinging a toy stroller to make him help I had to scream at him it took him 5 minutes to think about 911 I watched the paramedics gp in and out and carry her away in a wheelchair Now I'm sitting down stairs in my grandma and aunts house Help please

Damn dude, I know what it is like having to watch an ambulance take a loved one and it feels horrible (even though you know it is good they will be in a hospital). I wish you luck in these difficult times, all you need to do is stay strong for her. And your step-dad needs a lesson in logical thinking during high stress situations.
*Update* My mom just got home from the ER she has to go to a type neurologist for her eye Apparently she had too much pressure on it (Probably from her surgeries) she is still very weak and she can only lay flat at the moment P.s. Thanks for all the helpful replies
