Forums : You make threads, you can like posts and or threads by scrolling down a bit from the post or thread and it should have some options on the bottom right. You can follow people by clicking on their name or just being on their profile, hover over the follow button and it should say follow or unfollow, if it says unfollow then you've obviously already been following that user, also if you hover over the follow or unfollow button is should say if that person is following or is not following you. You can't post threads on News because Surge can only do that and other categories will not allow you to create a thread on there either. To create a new thread, simply click on the category on the main forums page, then on the right you should see 'post new thread' or something like that. If you're reporting a hacker, scroll down when you click the category "hack/ddos reports" why? because it will show you a format posted by Surge when you scroll to the bottom, or it could be posted by a Mod for it to be up to date. If you're extremely disrespectful or swearing excessively in your post/thread it might be deleted by a Mod or Surge himself. If you want to private chat with a player about something, click on their profile/name and it should say start a conversation.. this will lead to you creating a title for the conversation and it will be completely private to your participant or participants, yes you could add multiple people inside your conversation/party whatever you would like to name it. When people reply to your conversation, on the top right where it says 'Inbox', that's where it will show a red number notifying you that that person or those people replied to your conversation. What might the numbers be in your Alerts or Inbox? well for Alerts if there are 2 Alerts, that means someone has quoted, liked or replied to a thread or your profile status or wrote something on your profile page, and this could also mean your thread (if you made one) has been moved into a category, for example : If you apply for Mod and you get accepted or decline, your thread will be moved to "Accepted Moderator requests" or "Declined Moderator Requests". Right now, I'm getting ice cream with my family. Then we will ride around for a little while, then I'll head back to set it up. I'll make a thread on the competition section and I'll announce it on the actual server. So I'd say around an hour and a half to two hours
