I just got back from orientation at my school. List some things you hate/like about orientation. I hate getting up early
Dat sucks, at my school we get our books during the first week or two. And there are schedules at the front of the school so you just have to ride there and see what class you're in. :•P
My brother is going into 6th grade and he doesn't have to go because we are going on a cruise and when I went into 6th grade I had to do it all they did was really talk
We don't have that at our school. We have to come early on the first day to find out our classes. It's really crowded because they're just pieces of paper taped to the office windows.
That's sad lol. We have to get in line for ours. They organize us based on last name. We got some schedules before that but they're unofficial lol. We have to get them signed by every teacher on the schedule until we turn them into the last (6th) period teacher lol.
At our school, we go in like 1-2 weeks before school starts and we pick up a packet with all school/sports info. Then, we have to get it all signed and filled out and return it to the office someone in that week. The system works very well.
We just have to fill out a form and get our picture taken for our school ID and get our textbooks and schedule, that's it, it's on a first come first serve basis. Mine is on a few days after the 10th of August I forgot the exact day though.
We find out our classes a week or two before school finishes, then get our books and equipment over the break.
