Well you must have a beefy pc. Make sure you have a dual-core processor. Recommended processor is an i5 of at least @2GHz. Intel HD graphics 4600 is decent. Have at least 2GB of RAM. You'll need the Dolphin Emulator, which runs Wii and GameCube games. The games are in .ISO file format which you'll have to get yourself either by dumping the contents from the actual disc or downloading it online via torrenting. Emulators like dolphin need lots of resources because your PC must translate the language the Wii uses to a language which the pc can understand. Also, many Wii games use lots of effects, textures, and polygons in their graphics, so it's more work. At this point I'm using an Alienware 17" laptop. Specs: i7-4720HQ @2.6 GHz. Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M 3GB dedicated vRAM. 8GB of RAM. 1TB of Hard Drive. 64-bit. Most of the other specs aren't really important. You gotta make sure you get the 64-bit version of dolphin if you can, because the 64-bit version is faster than 32-bit. P.S.: Dolphin is probably not for you if your processor contains a U in its name after the numbers. U means ultra low voltage, which ultimately means less processing power and efficiency for dolphin.
He shouldn't just torrent random shit though unless he wants a virus, He should go to a emulator iso dedicated site, a couple trust worthy ones should pop up with a quick search. I've never used a Nintendo emulator lol, well I did but only on my phone for Pokemon Ruby. I use PSP emulators for my Japanese Hentai Games
Ye. Sorry was trying to generalize that with torrenting. It was until then that I remembered that they're not the same lol Also @RockStar_188 make sure to get the emulator from dolphin-emulator.org, not com. Com is outdated. Org contains all the latest stable builds and revisions.
