SW Games Season 3 - Finale + Winner

After a pretty intense game, the SW Games season 3 winner was announced, who is Poweredwind! Congrats to him, with him killing 3 people in the whole game!

evravon30 died first after being killed by sam, with it being slightly unfair after issues with ev's inventory, then sam soon after fell into the void (Not sure if accident or if someone snowballed him off.) Then, dvwinn built to mid, gathering the majority of the OP stuff from middle, then jumping onto fruity's bridge before killing her, Powered cleaned him up after dvwinn was on fire, and the game soon slowed down a bit, I got the rest of the loot from mid, and after a ten minute standoff, I killed Donut, she got me down to 1 heart, and then Powered cleaned me up, then with Tatters and Powered left it ended in a water battle which decided the winner. Well played to all 30 people that played and gj Powered in winning

Also, how often would you like the SW Games to be? I will leave a poll.

 

powered got 1 hit on me with kb axe which won the game, I got him to like 4 hearts :3

 

I killed sam, all powered did was double cleanup

Btw heres some ideas:
- More blocks
- this should be like every 1 month...
-not so op stuff in middle e.g. Diamond sword and kb axe
-Dont put me in same round where Powered is >.<

 

Yeah some feedback from both myself and Hugh is to remove kb axe

I was shaking so much I could barely hit you.
It may get a bit repetitive and boring for some people, and I am starting my GCSE's soon (already done 2 english exams) so it may be a bit hard to get round to it every month, with sign ups and building maps, etc.
OP stuff like the kb axe will be removed from next season.
Powered and you are in similar timezones, was the most convenient way for everyone to play.

So yeah after killing evra my blocks disappeares , from my inventory. Then there was no way to stop dvwinn building over to me so I camped and he rekt me . And GG, this was a great and intense season! Gratz Powered!

 

And I'd like to take the credit for inspiring about 7 people to sky base

Here's what I think is going on:

People vote every 1 month because they enjoy the sw games (understandable) and want to play in it as much as possible.

But if you have it as often as that, it's going to lose its special feeling, which is why I think it should not be every month. Maybe every 2 months would be a good compromise

 

I voted 3, I agree, it is still a fun competition, but if it was every month it would feel like playing an odd game of skywars rather than playing in the tournament.

I've said it since season two, one round elimination is so stupid. Someone makes one litle mistake and they're out of it, which is just stupid

3 or so games per round, work on a point system. That way it's the bst wins not the most lucky/cleanup

Okay all competition aside, come to think of it the 1 round thing is a little luck based. So yeah, maybe a 2 round thing where the winner of each qualifies. And if it's the same each time, keep playing til you get a new winner?

 

I don't think thats what dvwinn meant, I think he meant that there would be 3 rounds, with everyone playing in each. In the first round, if person A wins, they win 8 points, if in the second round they come third, they get 6 points, and in the third round if they come last they get 1 point, etc. That will be put into a leaderboard, with the 2 people who got the highest overall score qualifying.

 

Or counted by kills (Like 3 for kills, 5 for winning)

Maybe like squad sw? For example Win + 10 points, 2nd 8 points etc.. and a kill = 1 point

 

That's pretty OP TBH, someone gets 6 kills but dies and still loses

 

Guys guys....maybe u should let more than 20 people join that way there are more rounds therefore making it a bit more fun. Also because when I read the thread, it was too late to join cause I was sleeping when people applied. I didn't even have a bit of time. Dvwinn don't be mean and say pay more attention

That gets too technical and the problem with that level of technicality is the winner becomes more obvious. The way I suggested keeps that small element of luck (which makes it interesting), but it's also a lot more skill based.

It wouldn't be a very fun competition if you knew Jonny would just win it on points to qualify.

 

Just a example, it can be win =3 kill = 1

 

Which means he is the better player. That's why people need to up their game, and make the games actually hard except sit in your tower until you can clean up.

But the whole point is to have fun, not be tryhard about it. I mean if you wanna win understandable, but being a noob is pat of the game

Once a month is way to many... at least 3-5 months would be a decent length, use your judgement.

 

Well i like the special feeling of the skywars games, but i think if its every 2 months squad should sponsor some community events

 

I think adding in that you have to be extremely skillful in order to win is good for a real life competition, you know like the best man wins.
But for Season 4 I think the best idea would probably be to have 2 rounds per qualifier, first round being like in s1-3, and second round being comprised of 7 players - all of whom died and are given a second chance (Winners of the rounds go through). Then it is not entirely luck based, but it is also not just whoever can tryhard a game the most wins. Also I don't want to add maths in, because I'll probably have to do it and forget to carry the 1 or some bs. We'll sort something out that pleases everyone I hope.
